The wings we ordered tonight had barely any flavor at all. Our first time ordering. Very disappointed. Will not order again. 😞
Nice small place along the beaten path, great wing flavor, we sat out on the porch in a rain storm and it was so calming. The cat that visited was the added bonus.

Townes loved the Bbq gold wings 🪽🐓🍗
My boyfriend went in to use the bathroom. He was told he had to go to the bar side and was told how to get there. Once over there he was told very rudely by the bartender that he had to be a customer to use their bathroom. He was a customer, he bought stuff from the store. She did not have to be that rude. When wanting customers to return especially if it's their first experience no one should ever be rude or disrespectful. It's about customer service!!!

Overpriced for subpar food. The service can be good but if you don’t order online and don’t have a certain server working they will avoid you if you are just a couple of women. They don’t tell you they take every single online order before you even though you are the one physically in the restaurant waiting almost an hour for your waitress to at least tell you what’s going on rather than avoid you to flirt with all the men that come in. Then when you go to ask the back what’s going on with your food the woman working back there will scream at you telling you they have online or called in orders that they take over you even though you arrived before anyone that might have made the online order rather than just explaining calmly and professionally what the situation is that should have been explained when we first walked in and ordered with you 50 minutes ago. So rude and unprofessional. Only one server running around underpaid and avoiding us like the plague because we aren’t men who flirt for tips. I just can’t believe that this is what Cold Spot has come to. Either pay your employees better and have more people on staff for your customers or have more customers walk out the door after waiting an hour. Always takes way too long for the food, the food that does eventually come out is not even what was ordered in the first place, over an hours wait after seating. Unbelievable. Do better.

Crap food. Poor service with rude staff that ignore you unless you’re a man. overworked staff considering there’s only ever one server in the restaurant/bar. Will be ignored for hours.

Food and staff are amazing. We keep coming back for the great food, especially the wings and more importantly to see if our lost cat is eating any leftovers.

Me and my 8 year old daughter drove in to an Air BnB from Akron Ohio to Scarbro WV, and this place was the nearest restaurant to order DoorDash from. We ordered it, and paid close to $40 for the order of kids chicken tenders, fries, onion rings, and a falafel pita- because DoorDash obviously requires more money for delivery. An hour and a half later, the DoorDash driver brought our food, apologizing for the restaurant taking way too long. He was doing the best he could obviously! I opened up my kids tenders and fries- the tenders were as hard as cardboard and flavorless. There was no ketchup or sauce included with the order. I opened up my falafel pita and there were about four small pieces of pita bread- no falafel or anything else in there. The onion rings were ok. The fries were over done.I called the establishment, a lady who sounded very scattered and confused got on the phone. I asked if they could bring me a falafel pita and that the order had come to us incomplete from DoorDash. The lady told me they were out of falafel pita. I asked if I could have something else and she told me they had gyros- I agreed to have it replaced with a chicken gyro. She then said to order it on DoorDash and she’d tip the driver. I told her that I didn’t want to pay again and shouldn’t have to- I just wanted food for dinner that I didn’t receive from them, and needed it sent for free. Since I had driven for DoorDash myself I explained that they should order it on DoorDash and pay for the order themselves, since I had seen it done that way myself while driving for them. I explained I was at an Air BnB with my daughter and we didn’t have dinner food with us or available to us. She told me she’d have one of her employees drive it over themselves. Towards the end of the call she mustered up what sounded to me like a forced apology, and said she was embarrassed. But by this point I was finding it hard to believe her. She tried to get off the phone with me before asking for the address where we were, and I reminded her she would need my address. She then took my address and said that a chicken gyro would be there, free of charge, in an hour. I didn’t even ask her to comp the food for my kid.I waited another hour and a half- no food. My kid didn’t eat the cardboard chicken or fries because they were so bad. I, hungry from our drive and in an air BnB with no food except snacks, ate my onion rings, which were fine, and the pita bread, which was fine but sparse.I called again and said we hadn’t received our food. A guy answered this time and dryly, coldly said that they’d leave a note for their manager to refund us tomorrow. No apology was given by him. I asked if I’d have to call again tomorrow to double check that that got done. He said he’d leave a note, then left the call.It was late and we were hungry, My kid and I drove through some country mountain roads to a Wendy’s and paid $16 for much better food and service. We didn’t get to eat dinner until 9pm, and had ordered this food from Cold Spot Glen Jean at 6pm.I got up the next day and checked all day, and beyond that day, for my refund. No surprise there was no refund. So we paid $40 to get sent bad food late, including an inaccurate order, then call to get lied to and told we’d get it made right, wait for an hour and a half with no food, then end up driving to Wendy’s late night on country roads paying $16 more, and get told we’d get refunded with no refund.I decided not to bother calling for the refund. I suppose I could’ve but I anticipated more of a headache because of the previous experience. All that to say- this place should be shut down. If Gordon Ramsey showed up there he’d cuss everyone out and probably have most of the staff fired! ? Stay far far away. Go to the local Wendy’s instead you’ll get better food much cheaper! ??
