Trying to figure out their current rating. My partner and I both ordered soup and salad. How hard is this to mess up? Apparently pretty easy. First both salads had old wilted brown lettuce. The waitress stated the dressings were homemade but there is no way the ranch is. It was like milky water. Neither of us really touched our salads and the server noticed and instead of asking if everything was ok or if there was a problem She just took them. Then comes the soups. The chili was okay. Not bad but not great by any means. Typical canned chilli (not homemade as the menu states). But the potato soup was boiled potatoes in water. That’s. It. Seriously. We both looked at each other and laughed. I’ve never seen something like it. The gave behind us was also complaining about their meals as well. Also when you charge close to $4 for a small drink and only provide one free refill, it’s a clear sign the place is in trouble. I remember when this place was amazing but we will absolutely not be back. Also, the server could have cared less about the issues.

We got a chicken hoagie (chicken & cheese only) and my chicken looked pink. We also got Chicken Alfredo, 1 side salad & soup it was $43.83. The food wasn’t good at all. My bf had a small bone in his alfredo, not sure what that could be from? & also a couple pieces of rotten broccoli in his soup.

Had fried zucchini as appetizer. Barbecue sandwich and fries. Everything was very good. Waitress was excellent.

I really like the feel of the friendly atmosphere. I am a big fan of the bread pudding and I highly recommend a black cup of coffee it is hot and fresh. Every time I come the food is always great but the service is always horrible I always get a waiter that is rude and slams my drinks and food down and doesn’t even greet us with a smile
Atmosphere-3 stars- located in Grafton WV this locally owned restaurant sits off West Main Street. The restaurant has two floors with tables and a sit up counter on the first floor. Restaurant appears very clean.
Service- 4 stars- our waitress was very friendly and helpful. She was upbeat and seemed to enjoy her job.
Food- 4 stars- they serve a Variety of Fare from soups, salads, sandwiches/hoagies to pasta to steak, chicken and fish entrees. They also have family sized pasta dishes. I had the Chicken hoagie with cheese and peppers with a side of fries. Very good hoagie- cheese was melted perfectly. Only thing I would ask for next time would be to add hot peppers if that was an option. I’m a big fan of French Onion Soup and saw that this was offered so I had to try it. This wasn’t the best French Onion soup I had ever had but it was solid enough that I would get it again. We also tried the Potato soup- this was not a thick potato soup, a little watery to our liking however it was still decent. All in all very impressed with the service and food. Would recommend stopping here if you’re driving through the area.
