We always stop here for a quick bite and a milkshake. The view is breathtaking as it overlooks the river below. Staff is friendly and the establishment is always clean. I got the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard as it’s my favorite! I got the hotdog with the works and got a basket of curly fries. The basket of curly fries, can feed two adults too! The river view is the bonus!

Love the Dairy Queen. As a kid we would go there visiting my grandmother. Beautiful spot on the river and the Bluestone Dam. Tiny DQ back then.

$30 for two chicken strip baskets, and they had no milk for ice cream... At Dairy Queen. I will never darken the doorstep of this farce of an establishment.

I came all the way from Auburn, AL to get me a WV slaw dog and I was not disappointed! 😎 Also snuck in a peanut buster parfait for good measure. Both were excellent! Reminded me of much younger days in WV. 🙂

We have been coming to this Dairy Queen for years and years, it has ALWAYS been one of our favorite places to visit. We visited there last night (Saturday) and the hours said they were open until 9. We got there at around 6:45 and by the time we ordered it was 7:00 pm and we could not sit on the lower dining room because they had it closed to “give them time to clean” This was disappointing since one of the best things about visiting here is sitting where we can see the river. When we got our food the tomato and lettuce from my taco salad was not even cut up so my husband tried to go get me a knife to cut it up myself, he stood up front for 10 minutes but the workers were too busy on their phones to even see what he needed. I finally told him to just forget it since his food is now getting cold. His bun for his burger was burnt and what was supposed to be crinkle cut fries was just small hard pieces of fries. I also think that maybe the owners should pay more attention to what the workers are wearing or at the very least not allow them to roll their shorts up to where they barely cover their hind ends. I only gave one star because zero stars was not an option. I am thinking we will be going to Kirk’s in the future if we want to drive to Hinton to eat by the river,
