Sitting on the river was really nice! I had a burger and onion rings, pretty good. My husband had the pulled pork and that made him really nauseous. So do not eat the pork. I was totally fine, and we shared the loaded tots and onion rings, so the only thing it could've been was the pork BBQ.

Seems a nice place & fairly busy. The views from outdoor covered patio were calming & lovely. Also, is pet friendly. The holiday was not a good time to go. Staff tried but the crowd overwhelming. After over an hour waiting, we found out that 1/2 order was missing & totaly lost. Don't bother here on crowed holidays!

As a West Virginia native, we’ve eaten at Kirk’s since our 37 year old daughter was a child. Today as we were headed back to Virginia, we took our five year old granddaughter there to eat as a treat. Food is not what it used to be and the prices for the quality did not match. And the cleanliness was questionable. No more special trips to Kirk’s.

Typical american menu with breakfast items served all day. The trash cans inside the restaurant smelled horrible. It doesnt help that they are located about 6 feet from the order counter and are directly beside the salad bar. I placed my order (2 hot dogs and a blt to go). It took 30 minutes to get. The kitchen seemed to be struggling while one of ladies at the register walked around talking down about them not doing a good job instead of doing anything to help other than fold silverware... Worst part was that the restaurant was only about 60-70% capacity. Naturally after half an hour the food came out drier than the Sahara. Way better options for food in hinton.
We love to come to Kirks Today was the worst time Our food was cold ,we waited 35 minutes for our food, I went to find out what was going on, our food was sitting there waiting to be served They was not busy, the waitress said they was short staffed we had hamburger steak dinners There was no manager there according to the waitress

I DO NOT RECOMMEND WASTING MONEY HERE We took out of state family here over the weekend for breakfast, they were out of all breakfast food so we got lunch. wasted 95$ on the most disgusting food ever! catfish dinner was raw and needed recooked so by the time it was done everyone else was done eating what little they could consume, then it was to hot to eat so it didn't even get eaten. the fries were mushy and undercooked, mozzarella sticks barely warm, burgers over cooked and burned toasted buns so the kids didnt eat. the vinegar bottle had live knats in it. I reached out to kirks personally with no response though they did read my messages. no refund of money, we left hungry. I support local but will never recommend anyone waste their money here for awful food, bad service. very disappointed.!

Was there on August 10, took 50 minutes for our food and when we got it was cold! They wasn't even busy, has really went down hill. And patio outside dirty and spider webs everywhere! Probably won't be back!
