Lucky Rivers Cafe and Catering LLC

It’s my first visit to this cafe but it won’t be my last. Our server was friendly and made us feel right at home and recommended the breakfast sandwich because they were serving Sunday brunch. I’m so glad she did — it was delicious and really hit the spot. I’ll definitely be returning. They also have a nice beer selection but I failed to snap a picture of it.

I'm not from here, but I visit often and I've been to Lucky Rivers for brunch and dinner about three times with family. The food is exceptional. The menu is small, but has good variety. Taken together, it's a commitment to only serve an item if they can keep it top notch.

I had the same opinion when I walked in today, but I was still somehow surprised again by how delicious my food was, even with my high expectations. Acid and salt carefully managed, ratios between elements like meat veg and bread, the chips that are a common side, wonderful baked goods, local and fresh ingredients.

The decorations are nice, I like the music, the service is good, we like the owner.

Lucky River was absolutely delicious! Every ingredient of every dish must have been carefully selected to bring together such excellence. I will probably go out of my way to return as soon as I can 😀

Had the special today, prosciutto and grilled peaches on a croissant. Unreal!

Excellent homemade fresh food made with love and care. We ordered from their brunch menu (avocado toast, breakfast burrito, 3 cheese quiche, pancakes) and everyone loved their food.

My mom and I stumbled upon this place last year while passing through Hinton, and it’s truly one of the cutest spots I’ve ever been to! The food is delicious and balanced without trying too hard to be overly “healthified,” which I really appreciate. The decor is charming and cozy, and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. We’ve come here for both my 17th and 18th birthdays, and they even treated me to free carrot cake! I always look forward to Sunday brunch here.

This place is as if a bohemian east village cafe was transported to a Southern WV river town. I have never had a bad meal here. My favorite item is the Lucky Turkey sandwich, before which I didn’t even particularly like turkey sandwiches, I was not aware it was because the previous 43 years of turkey sandwiches had been nonsense in comparison to this masterpiece.

It’s small, personal, friendly, and charming in every way. There are a lot of great places to eat but this one is something special.

By luck we found this restaurant passing through a tiny little town. What a great place. Abby our server, had a sparkling personality. The food was great. So glad we found this little gem.

Delicious!! We explored Hinton one day this spring and decided to stop in for lunch. The food was fresh and flavorful, with generous portions, and the brownies are monstrous and delicious! 👍👍

We ate brunch at Lucky Rivers last weekend. It was our first time there and it was amazing! We can’t wait to go back through the week to try one of everything on the menu! 😅

Had the most amazing Spring Salad on the daily special menu today! It was so delicious and I’ll definitely go back to try more of their fresh food soon!

Highest praise to the chef and staff! This place is top notch and Hinton is beyond lucky to have it! The food is fresh, creative, and DELICIOUS! (Save room for dessert!) The service is excellent, there’s always good music playing, and the vibe is bright, cheerful, and a little funky. Great selection of beers and other drinks. This special place is sure to attract recognition beyond Hinton!
