River City Grill & Pub Reviews
👎🏻👎🏻Horrible! Wish we read all the other bad reviews on here first. We went here for the first time today and it was disappointing! No wonder we were the only customers in there at lunchtime! The food wasn’t good / the menu was boring / the restaurant atmosphere was drab and not the cleanest either. As far as the service we didn’t get any - only people in there and she couldn’t come once to check on us or bring us refills ?! Don’t waste your time or money folks-...read full review
When I look on a web page and online and it says a place is open, I expect to be able to go eat. I mean after 9 pm I know just the bar would be be open, but at 7pm I can't sit down and get served. Very disappointing, as was very excited for my husband to try y'all for the first time.
Was in there today with daughter Shakira Chaffin let me tell ya the the crab leg and shrimp broil was awesome butter seasoning was good customer service and all
Now soda was flat wait a lil long and one waitress but she handles it. I’d stop using images off internet and show your own price on crab legs was high for what ya got tbh
I say 6/10

River City Grill & Pub is a charming restaurant located near downtown Hinton, Bluestone Dam, and Sandstone Falls, offering lovely river and mountain views. The welcoming staff ensures a great dining experience. Popular menu items include fried pickles, grilled chicken sandwich, macaroni, catfish dinner, and shrimp basket. Customers have praised the delicious fried pickles and fantastic BBQ wings. The restaurant is nestled against the river, creating a peaceful setting for a relaxing meal after outdoor activities. The atmosphere is enjoyable, with the option for dog-friendly seating on the patio. The bartender is friendly, attentive, and fun, often joining customers to play pool while keeping drinks refilled efficiently. Recent visitors shared that the food was decent but could improve, mentioning that dinner rolls were hard and dry, and the crab leg and shrimp broil was good with a nice butter seasoning. While service can sometimes be slow, staff members handle busy times well. Prices are reasonable compared to other places, though some felt the crab legs were a bit high for what was received. Many guests find the overall experience more than makes up for minor issues, making it a good spot for good times with friends.
