Applebee's Grill + Bar

Aside from the bartender taking forever to pour my drink, I had a very enjoyable meal. My steak was cooked to perfection 👌. Nice crisp, fresh salad, great garlic mashed potatoes, and broccoli steamed nicely.

I honestly love coming here. Totally enjoyed my meal.

Ordered the special, 2 dinners for $25. Had the garlic glazed sirloin with mashed potatoes, broccoli and salad. Ordered steak medium and came out well done and chewy. Brought out another steak medium and so chewy and tough! Do not recommend ordering this.....try chicken instead.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had. We waited an hour and 20 minutes for our food. People around us ordered ate and paid before we got it. Waitress insisted it was on the way every 10 minutes. The bathrooms had water coming through the ceiling and were generally gross. I would never go back.

The bartender tonight Kristen did great. I got my drinks fast and exactly how I ordered them five stars for her. She's the only reason why my overall rating is a 3, not a 1
The kitchen, however. reminded me why I rarely, if ever, get food from an Applebee's. The wings came out cold and overly saturated in the sauce, and the ranch and celery were warm. Decided to try the pretzels, they must have forgotten to warm the cheese sauce cause it came out cold and the pretzels dripping in grease

It was nice. Our waitress was really nice. The pub waffle fries app sum to have down sized that was a bummer. My chicken wontons were good and also my red sangria was good.

The food was great! The service was horrible, we waited almost 30 minutes after we were seated to even get offered drinks and that's because I had to flag down the hostess!

We did not have the best experience when we ate here recently. Immediately upon walking in, there was only a handful of staff members on the floor and the service was very slow. We considered leaving and going somewhere else but decided to stay. After several minutes of standing by the door, we were seated in the patio area. We had quite a long wait before our drink orders were taken and even longer before the drinks were served. We almost thought we'd been forgotten about. We ordered and received our food, which was okay but still extremely overpriced for what it was. This is a Applebee's issue itself though, not strictly pertaining to this location. Due to the prices combined with the long wait times and likely understaffing issues, we likely won't be returning.

I stopped in there I waited 30 minutes to get a seat to eat and the server never even asked so I left. Was people coming in behind me and getting a table. And when I was standing there I seen two empty tables for two people like I'm only one person.

First time there in along time. Will not be going back after tonight. The hotess said 15 minute wait, plenty of tables open, she was rude, seated us about 10 minutes later. Waitress got drinks and then took order... then it was 1 hour 30 minutes before we got our food. Girl cleaning tables got us refills, manager came by and asked how things was and I was nudged by my husband because he didn't want me to tell the manager they needed to step up their game. The wings was just hard chicken nuggets, my husband's steak was little meat and lots of fat, potatoes was cold, broccoli was cold. When you go to a restaurant the first thing you should see is people smiling, talking to you, welcoming you there....you sure don't see that in Teays Valley, you see people looking like they don't want to be there, eye rolls, the pouty lip look or the really do I have to wait on them look....the water in the bathroom, then need to place a trash can to catch the water dripping from peoples hands instead of the water all over the floor when getting paper towels to dry the hands....over heard we had 12 cooks quit so far in 2 weeks...well I wouldn't have told that either. Definitely need to have a group meeting and make it known that put smiles on the faces, interact with customers, and be happy not the dreaded geez I'm here big deal look or the look of geez, I do not want to be here. We was a party of 2, I was a waitress at Diehls and I depended on my tips to pay my college and car payment and car insurance... I was happy to go to work everyday making 2.50 a hour and coming out with 150.00 a night except Saturday and Sunday was never under 350.00 each day....I guess the good old days are gone. Things have changed so much but I still clean my table up every time before we leave a restaurant and we don't run the waitress legs off either but 2 times in a total of 1 hour 50 minutes to 2 hours there---I found was different.

The 2 for 25 came to 33, and I ended up sick after almost immediately after eating. Otherwise, everything was good. The leprechaun drink was delicious 😋

Super safe and close to the interstate! Plenty of gasoline and hotel options. Well lit and super clean. Anna was our server that was on it! We never wanted for anything! Smart and tactful. Ver observant & we never waited for anything! We had the yummy white cheese with chips. Split a Caesar salad & Bourbon Steak! Super good and quick! Thank you Anna! We will be back!
