Applebee's Grill + Bar

Walked in this restaurant just a couple of minutes of opening. Little crowd, but service was at the premium.

Lauren took our order with a smiling face and such a wonderful attitude. She was extremely helpful with ordering. She praised the taste of the different dishes that Applebee’s has on the menu.

We received our drinks and appetizer. Drinks looked good and cold. The appetizer was served on an oversized plate and we couldn’t wait to dive in.

Our meals came out at the perfect time. Hot, steaming, and sizzling for me, and a large, precision placed salad for my sweetie.

Overall tastes on both meals were excellent!

Thank you Applebee’s and Lauren for an overall excellent dining experience. Plus, we can’t forget about the ones who prepared each plate. Outstanding job and service!!

The atmosphere and service were wonderful as usual. The New OM Cheeseburger was disappointing. With the ad and even the photo on the new menu showing a skillet full of queso to dip sandwich and fries in it looked like they had put one little slice white cheese on the skillet which mostly fried away.

We just walked out of this Applebees and that’s something we never do. We were seated immediately, but waited over 15 minutes and never saw a waitress. We stopped to
Tell the hostess on the way out, and instead of an apology or anything, she rolled her eyes and said “I’ll
Tell someone” We were passed by multiple servers and watched three huddled together laughing and chatting in the back the entire time.

Never Again!! This has to be the most incompetent restaurant in Teays Valley!

(Update) The GM reached out to me and was very friendly and helpful so I'm hoping she can have some change but as far as I'm concerned the GM made good on what was wrong, ty.

The way the employees and manager handles a mess up is very inconsiderate. Almost disrespectful. I will not be back to this Applebee's without a makeover of how it's ran.

Long wait for drinks, taking our order, and waiting for apps. They only brought out half of our party’s food with no explanation of where the rest was, server just said “it all came out”. We waited 20+ minutes and another meal came out. At this point we’re 90+ minutes in and we were still missing food. Brought the final plate of food out and it wasn’t correct. All of the food looked sloppy and thrown together. We did ask to speak to the manager and while I appreciate her compensating our meal it doesn’t make up for the lack of communication and poor service. Table behind us had uncooked fish and we watched 3 separate party’s get up and leave without ever ordering food or being seen by a server. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Absolutely disgusting experience. I went to Applebee’s last night and honestly wish I hadn’t. The ranch dressing that came with my food was literally bubbling. Not warm, not separated — bubbling, like it had turned or was fermenting. It immediately killed my appetite and made me question how long it had been sitting out.

The fact that something like that even made it to a table is concerning. Basic food safety should be the bare minimum, and this missed the mark completely. No one should have to second-guess whether a simple side of ranch is safe to eat.

Service was very good. Much better than other Applebee's. We got what we ordered which is also better than other Applebee's. We both had shrimp alfredo. Enjoyed the meal.

I have ordered the oriental chicken salad hundreds of times at various Applebee's. This was the worst ever! This was nothing more than a very sad looking tossed salad with a few noodles sprinkled on top, cubed chicken and dressing on the side. It was bad enough to turn me off from ever ordering this dish ever again! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

I was surprised to see how much food you get with there 2 eat for $25..... Food was very good with healthy portions of food. Staff very nice and helpful. Will be back to the location in Teays Valley next time I visit

I can't believe how disorganized they are.. here you have to wait to be seated from 60 to 120 minutes, then you have to wait for food for another 2 hours, horrible

Mostly quiet the servants and bar tender is always smiling

Parking was a little tight (Veterans Day), but the food was good, the staff was friendly and the facility was clean. Here's a tip to avoid the wait: sit at the bar.
