Staff was super nice. I had the brisket and pulled pork. Neither had much flavor, both tasted like they were cooked in a crock pot. Brisket was shredded, not cut in the traditional strips. Looked more like a roast than brisket.

Great server. Food was good , bbq sauce was more like marinara sauce, but then again I make my own bbq sauce. Crab cakes were tremendous as always .

The server was friendly. The restaurant had a nice country feel. But if you’re looking for good smoked BBQ, this place isn't for you. I had the 2 meat plater of pork and brisket with Mac and cheese, collard greens with fried green tomatoes for an app. The tomatoes had a god taste to them but the corn meal breading was heavy. The meat both looked the same, both meats were shredded and had the same texture and taste the same. It tasted like it came out of a steam table. The BBQ sauce tasted more like a thick tomato sauce. The Mac and cheese was good. I had peach cobbler that was more like a warm sweet cake with one peach slice. I would try this place again but I will try a buger or anything else besides BBQ.

Please reconsider. Traveling through from WI to the Outer Banks we stopped for an early Sunday night dinner. The servers were more interested in socializing between themselves than making sure their guests are taken care of to start. We waited over 10 minutes from being seated to get any opportunity to order anything and there were maybe 3 other tables. The food was bad. The brisket is shredded and seems like it came out of a tub. Mac and cheese was clearly microwaved and the collard greens were horrible! To top it off, the waitress Haily, I believe, had no interest in learning what customer service is. Very argumentative and has no social skills.
This restaurant was a horrible experience. Please stay clear!!

Pork ribs were pre cooked and served cold and bbq sauce tasted like cheap ketchup and mashed potato tasted like a baked potato we complained and still nothing was done threw 100 dollars in the toilet advise you to not go there will never only thing good was the server was attentive and helpful

The young lady that took care of us was amazing! Super sweet, and was fast with everything we asked or needed! Very wonderful young lady!
The food however wasn’t as good. For a smoked BBQ place, I expected to at least taste smoked. It didn’t at all. Our sides were just bland and really had no taste. The Greens and green beans tasted like they were just taken out of the can and put on the plate. The “BBQ sauce” tasted like ketchup with something to make it try and taste like BBQ sauce. It just didn’t work. They only had one flavor of the sauce and they took a ladle and put it in random spots on the plate. We got the 2 person combo, and while it was plenty of food for my wife and I. It just wasn’t good.
The building is AMAZING! Clean, very nice place to eat at! The stuff on the wall was neat to look at, and all the animals decor was fun to look at. I just wish that the food, matched the atmosphere and the staff. Because they were wonderful!
