Walked in not having high expectations. My last visit to the Captain was when restaurants in Dunbar was open. Employees were very polite and nice. Service was great and my dinner was wonderful. I honestly didn't know Captain Ds could be this Amazing!!! Will definitely be back soon!

The fish was ok ordered a 4 peice only gave me a 2 peice and did not get the slaw with my meal the fry's were very old service is very very slow we dined in the bench was very wobbly i was alil scared that it was gonna fall apart 😥😩😰
Ordered lunch at the drive-thru and when I got home I found the baked potato was brown inside (appears to have been reheated from the day before). I ordered the deluxe seafood platter with the crab cakes and shrimp. The crab cakes and fish were dark brown as if they had been left over and refried. I also ordered the add-on shrimp and lobster bites. The lobster was also dark brown and very dry. Also I didn’t get hush puppies and I asked for cocktail sauce and I got tartar sauce. The only edible part of my order was the coleslaw and the shrimp.

Asked for fresh fish and it took a long time. May call in advance and order next time. Their fish is just the best, It was hot and crispy, coleslaw is excellent and if fries are fresh, they are great also. Got a 10 piece meal and shared it with my dogs. They love captain D’s fish also!
