We had the best experience today. Despite being understaffed, and experiencing a recent power outage, the two ladies handled our large order with ease and grace. They were friendly and personable. A+++ for customer service and for multiple dairy free options.
Go ahead and save the location…because you WILL be back! I’ve had the opportunity to taste ice cream in many many states, and even internationally, and I can state that this ice cream is EASILY a top 5 I’ve ever tasted.
You can really taste every ingredient. I had a 4 scoop sampler bowl with a rocky road, a lavender & honey, a butter pecan, and a peanut butter scoop which came with 2 waffle cone pieces as well. Every flavor was amazing.
I was particularly impressed with the lavender honey because those are delicate flavors that can easily be lost. I was also super happy with the peanut butter’s flavor. It really tasted of freshly ground peanut butter’s intensity.
The service I received from the staff was friendly, helpful, and quick. And they were eager to give samples when I had questions about a flavor.
The location was also very clean and appeared well maintained.
Dietary restrictions: There were sugar-free options available as well as at least 1 dairy-free option. All the deserts were available in an edible cone or in a cup for those with allergies too.
Parking: There is free parking directly in front of the business. Somewhere around 12-20 spaces. I was there at around 2pm during the work week and there were around 3 cars plus myself and most folks stayed parked long enough to eat their ice cream with the A/C to help prevent melting… So I can imagine in the evenings or weekends parking could be a bit trickier. However there appears to be a church across the street, so when there are no services or events there could be additional parking there.
Wheelchair accessibility: The order and pickup window both were set at a height that a person in a wheelchair would be able to complete a transaction without additional accommodations. The blacktop of the business’s property was upkept well so a wheelchair or walker user could make their way around without any issue, and I did not notice any inclines steep enough to cause any issue either.
