First time visiting WV and decided I wanted to patronize a restaurant.
I'm so glad I did. The young lady at the front was so kind, helpful and accommodating. The entire staff were the same. The atmosphere was very welcoming and clean. Even the other guest were so nice.
If I ever get to come back to WV, I'll be sure to visit this tremendous establishment again

Nice place! We had lunch, very good and they treated us like we were customers who always stopped in! Great place and maybe next time we stop he will have the Dew Drop Inn opened.

I had a hotdog with sauce and slaw, paired with a sweet tea. Eddie had the grilled chicken sandwich and side salad, paired with a Mountain Dew. We shared some broccoli cheese bites and mac and cheese bites.
The food was good and the service was friendly. Prices were reasonable and the bathrooms were clean but not wheelchair accessible.

Absolutely dreadful! The waitress was literally the worse part with the food following closely behind. We showed up at an hour and half before close with chairs flipped and a reluctant attitude from the waitress to even serve us. When we had to ask if they were closed that should have been the first sign not to even proceed... but with 2 hungry children we decided to anyways. After huffing and puffing and being "encouraged" to pick foods that took minimum time and effort we ordered. The food came out at all different times with both the rare and medium steak tips well done and salted to the point they were barely edible (One plate was not ate) and the children's food came out last! And when I say last I mean 2 adults had completed their meals before theirs hit the table. The bread was brought out with regular butter because they didn't know how to make garlic butter ? but obviously the kids were hungry so that wasn't a big deal but hey. The waitress literally asked us if we needed silverware because who would need silverware for a baked potato, spaghetti, etc. Then it took us getting up to ask for refills, boxes, and so on in order to recieve any form of actual service. The waitress literally had time to sit and count her tips, and kiss her boyfriend/husband who drove a red truck while the kitchen is dinging the bell to let her know our food was ready. This was literally the service received when we were the only table in the restaurant! Our bill was over $75 which is no surprise but damn could one thing have least been good. They apparently didn't even have desserts that were advertised (which we asked for as soon as we were ordering our actual meals) that could have made a sweet end to the terrible time, but at that point who would want them. Can I actually give zero stars at this point?

My husband, our 2 sons, & I stayed in Belfry, KY from February - May for work. During those few months, Tug Fork n Spoon became our favorite spot for delicious, home cooked, comfort food meals! Our sons would beg to go there for every meal! Lol! We have tried just about everything on the menu & fresh desserts and cakes are made almost daily! We left the area in the beginning of May, but we plan to visit KY again JUST to eat at Tug Fork n Spoon and visit the owner and staff there! We enjoyed breakfast, lunch, & dinner here and highly recommend you stop by if you are in or near Kermit!

Great place to eat. Owner is awesome and the staff is great. The food is great, reminds me of home cooked meals from my youth. If you get a chance get a slice of the cake specials. Won't regret eating here.
