We had a very enjoyable dinner at Smokey's thanks to our server River. She made our time there very pleasant and welcoming. My husband mentioned it was my Birthday so she offered a complimentary dessert for us to share. The food was tasty, atmosphere great, service excellent!

Amazing atmosphere - although I’d rather not come back when there’s an event happening. Not enough staff to support the restaurant & an event as well. Solid B+ food. D- service, the hostesses filled our drinks & covered for our waitress. Waited 20 mins to order dessert after receiving the menu… instead we went to Dunkin Donuts.The FRIED GREEN TOMATOES ARE AMAZING as well as the house made salad dressing.Salmon & chops & steak were over cooked… but still tasty.

A most delightful evening dinner with a most attentive and knowledgeable server, River, was our time at Smokies. We were suggested to try the Pasta Bolognese which was freshly made, pasta and all. We were amazed by the quality of the entrée and the tastiness of the appetizer, pimento cheese hush puppies. We will definitely be back to dine and soak in the sun setting over the Gorge.
Our server, River was awesome, food was on point, cooked to perfection and will definitely be back. Thank you for topping off an amazing trip at Adventure on the Gorge.

We spend one night at the campground with our RV and Smokey's was a great restaurant to be able to relax and reintroduce ourselves back into society after a few days road-tripping. River was our waitress in the late shift and her hospitality was amazing, asking about our trip and where we were into next, giving us some tips for continuing in West Virginia. The food was amazing, I had the filet mignon (River's favorite) and everyone was full that night. Between this restaurant and being so close to the National Park, you couldn't go wrong.

We had dinner the two nights we were there and it was so delicious!! The first night the restaurant told us they were short staffed and dinner service took a long time but the food was still perfection. We had the Tips N Bleu, filet mignon, mashed potatoes and chicken tenders. The second night, River took excellent care to make sure we received our meals quickly and again, they were sooo good! We had the salmon appetizer which was yummy and the presentation was spot on. Again we had the Tips N Bleu and filet. The chef is a keeper.
