Before coming here, I contacted the restaurant to see how they could be vegan adaptable. I both messaged them via Facebook and then telephoned. In both communications, their response was: we can adapt anything. And they did! While they do not offer proteins such as Tempeh or tofu, they do substitute with black beans and remove cheese and make any other alterations that are reasonable and doable. In the case of my burrito, the cheese was removed. I also asked for no cabbage and that was accommodated. Service was excellent. The food was delicious. And the setting is wonderful and casual and magical. When we were done, the server encouraged us to stay to wait for the sunsets. Note: this establishment is near Fayetteville and new River Gorge national Park. As such, it has seasonal hours. We saw a sign that said they would be closing on October 19. Staff said they would reopen in late May. Note: If you pay cash, there is a percentage discount off the total bill.
The Burrito Bar is a top notch family owned eatery.
Best thing that was not mentioned as an option was they are pet friendly! They even have free homemade pet treats which our pup devoured! We ate there twice on our stay in Fayetteville and love it both times. I would recommend to everyone. Staff is very friendly! Very laid back atmosphere.
cool vibe, neat venue, nice waitress.....one of the worst burritos I've ever had in my life though. the chips and salsa were ok.
Seemed like a cool little spot at first. The deck and bar seating had a good vibe to it, good music, the beer selection was decent and cold, and the bartender was cool. Seems like it might get some good live music too. It nosedives after that, though.
There are SO MANY brown wasps, yellowjackets, and hornets EVERYWHERE that you have to be on CONSTANT high alert. Honestly, it's not even funny how many there are, I've never seen so many. One landed on my arm and almost got me. No bueno. ??♂️
As for the food? This isn't even remotely close to authentic Mexican if that's what you're looking for, and it's overpiced FAR beyond its worth. The hot pepper cheese balls were the highlight for sure, very good, and unlike most places, actually hot. They crush and fall apart completely at the slightest pressure, though so be warned when dipping them. The chicken quesadilla was pretty good, too. The Iron Ring burrito I had, though, and the cheesy rice my cousin had were honestly tragic. The rice is pretty much plain white rice, not even an attempt at being Mexican rice, and the "cheesy rice" just had some shredded cheddar melted on top. No bueno. The pulled pork in the burrito was just BBQ sauced pulled pork, and wasn't bad on it's own, but it does not go well at all in a burrito with refried beans and the plain white rice. The last thing I'll say about the food is that the hot sauce that I got with the burrito was odd and almost indescribable. I thought it was mango habanero at first from the bright yellow color, but I can honestly say I have no clue what it was, and that it wasn't good.
All in all? I won't be back. If you want a quick beer and you're at the rafting place next door, stop in and try not to get swarmed and stung by wasps, but eat elsewhere. Fayetteville is right down the way and has infinitely better options.

This is a must for anyone visiting the NRG. A great way to end a day of hiking, rafting, swimming, or whatever brought you to this beautiful area. The atmosphere is fun and laidback. The service is always on point. Food is fresh. Large portions. Great live music. All of this wrapped up with one of the BEST sunset views the Gorge has to offer!

The food here was amazing. I had the sweet potatoes burrito special at the recommendation of our server and it was delicious. And they were great about making sure one of our meals was dairy-free. Portions are large/great. Great beer/tap menu. Prices are reasonable. If you’re looking for the perfect non-touristy place to go after rafting, this is it!
Dietary restrictions: They were great about ensuring no they could make one of our meals dairy free.

Great little place in middle of nowhere. Likely the "go to" place after rafting trips - we were at Babcock State Park about 15-20mins away. Great food, didn't disappoint; don't be fooled when you drive in. Attentive server, Great tasting food, good size portions. Nice outdoor seating. Good beer selection.

For over a decade this family owned and operated casual fresh air restaurant has kept things simple, tasty and fun.
With live music throughout the season, and a great location to enjoy sunset, we are in no hurry to leave.

Funky little bar and burrito restaurant on the side of a hill. Live music, local brews, delicious burritos. Google maps got confused trying to get us there, but it was worth the adventure. Would definitely come back next time we're in the area!
