Bob Evans Reviews
The Lewisburg location catered a Thanksgiving lunch for our office. Portions were great, food was really good, order was ready on time and fresh. Highly recommend!
I ate there Saturday 10/18 and was disappointed. I did takeout, but only had to travel 5min to hotel up the hill. My biscuits were cold and hard and the sausage gravy had very little flavor, was watery, and had very little sausage in it. Not what I was expecting based on past experience.
Wasted over an hour here! Took forever to even come ask us what drink we would like. We left after being there over an hour and only offered our drinks,no refills ect. The container with creamer had mouse poop on it. Bob Evans offers a pleasant dining experience with delicious, basic American comfort food and a variety of menu options. The service is generally good, with staff who are friendly, helpful, and attentive. Customers report that the restaurant operates smoothly even when not crowded, and food is served promptly. However, there have been some recent mentions of slow service, and at times, food arriving lukewarm. Special features include breakfast bowls, a kids menu with kids eating free on Tuesdays, and a community boil notice during one visit caused a minor inconvenience, but the restaurant's response was not criticized. The restaurant is very nice and clean, with attentive and friendly staff. Customers can ask for special menus to accommodate dietary restrictions, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. The food is well-prepared and tasty, with highlights including the biscuits and sausage gravy, cranberry pecan salad, and breakfast options, as well as the delicious rolls. Some customers have noted that the hash browns can be greasy and that the potato soup is extremely cheesy. Overall, Bob Evans delivers on what it does best, providing good food and service, though recent visits have shown some inconsistency in service speed and food temperature.
