We can’t stay away from this place. There is a handful of bars in Lewisburg, but we never miss a chance to drop a visit to our favorite! Between the German and local beers on tap, cocktails, beer cheese and soft pretzel braids, brats and the best Bavarian mustard I’ve ever had, what is not to love? My husband is addicted to the chilli cheese hotdogs. Also the atmosphere is super chill, it’s a great place to hang out with a group of friends (or alone!), and as a fellow house plant lover, all the live plants inside is fantastic. During nice weather, the garage door goes up and you can sit outside under umbrellas with your furry friends if you like! We just love the Briergarten. It never gets old. And they have Taco Tuesdays! We even bought t-shirts!

Ya know we all like to think of our selves as a smaller size in the waist but I cant. Because of this place..... I came here for the first time as a bit of a picky eater and ordered the hotdog no mustard just chilly and cheese. Much like crack. I was hooked but it was too late before I realized. I laid awake at night thinking of the perfect dog. Pretzel bun, big ol Weiner, the best chilly and cheese. Oh my the cheese.. so good when I learned we had an opportunity to move to Lewisburg (for other reasons) I knew my dreams of being a swimsuit model were over.. just the mention of the name briergarten make my fat rolls tingle in all the right places. When I got out of the army I swore I would never run again I hate running. But so help me I would sprain a fat roll running for one of these dogs... As I sit here waiting for my second hotdog. I can't help but think I may be a little biased but I swear I think the beer is even colder and the coke ( a-cola ) is the much sweeter. Jesus help me .....

Strolling downtown Lewisburg I finally came across the source of the amazing grill I had been smelling all afternoon. The brat was great with sauerkraut and brown mustard nestled in a pretzel roll that wasn’t overwhelming. My partner was especially excited to find gluten free beer options!

Spending an evening in Lewisburg and stumbled onto this amazing gem of a place. Staff was 11/10, atmosphere was way laid back and the food was delicious. Your guy Nick behind the bar was super helpful and you could tell he loves what he does there. 100% recommend, and 100% will be back our next time through.

What a special little place Briergarten is. Delicious brats, sandwiches, and beer. The staff were outstanding, super attentive, and extremely friendly. Loved the open-garage concept and the inclusive atmosphere. A must try for anyone in the area!

We dropped in after cycling the Greenbrier River trail going to grab a beer and relax before beginning our trek to our next destination. The team was super friendly and engaging, and the beer selection quite good. We snacked on a braided pretzel with beer cheese and mustard, and it was hot and delicious. We felt welcome, like we were already part of the family!

This was our first stop in town! Came by for a late lunch and ordered the Wurst platter; everything was delicious! The sausages themselves were juicy and fresh, and pretzel buns were honestly the star of the show, and the mustards, cabbage, and curry ketchup were equally as great. The servers were all upbeat and helpful with suggestions, and there are a ton of beer options! Great place with lots of indoor and outdoor seating.
