One of the best local places. Amazing food and cider
everything about this place is wonderful. we stayed much longer than we had planned! great people …charming food (smoked burgers from locally raised beef with exciting toppers!) excellent ciders!!!
(my favorite was the barrel heritage!!)

This was our very first Harvest Host experience and it happened to fall on a weekend with a mandatory detour around a chocolate festival in Lewisburg. The roads were narrow leading up to the cidery, the grassy area where we parked was pretty soggy after the rain but once we were in place the staff and the view made everything else forgettable! Hawk Knob Appalachian Hard Cider offers a wonderful experience. Charming food, including smoked burgers and the superb avocado bacon grill cheese, is served alongside excellent ciders like the phenomenal Bloody Session. The beautiful location features a pond where kids can fish with bait provided, fire pits to roast marshmallows, and space to walk the fields. Friendly and amazing staff provides great and fantastic service, making it a super family-friendly destination with a really great country experience for all. The view is gorgeous and amazing. Visitors can enjoy their meal and cider flights in a tranquil and cozy setting. The roads leading up to the cidery are narrow, but the experience is unforgettable and a can’t miss stop.
