Do not be fooled by the “storefront” you see when you arrive at the Stardust Cafe. I went in expecting burgers, fries and maybe cheesesteak but found a unique dining experience! A bit more “fancy pants” that I expected and am used to eating at…and more expensive than what I expect from a Cafe. BUT!, the staff was excellent and the food was amazing! Great food in good portions well presented, like you would expect in a stand alone restaurant in a different location. Go.
I'm basing this review on my meal. Nice to see a vegan option on the menu. I had red curry with assorted veggies, very good. It came with a nice mixed greens salad. My husband had the curried chicken which was not very good. Chicken had no flavor. Service was excellent.
We went to this cafe because it is on happy cow and said there were vegan options on the menu. They only have vegan options on their dinner menu and we went there at lunch. We told the server that we were there for vegan options and asked what we could modify on the lunch menu to be vegan. He said the panini could be made without cheese so we ordered that and asked to sub in avocado instead. The sandwich came out with cheese on it and had to be remade. The server was apologetic about it, but this is the reason I would much rather go to a place that has vegan options (not food that can be modified to be vegan), which is where I thought I was going. Even after all that, they charged us extra for the avocado… I am always very careful to state my dietary preferences because I hate causing food waste. Overall, a very disappointing experience… I am only interested in returning if they put actual vegan options on all of their menus (including lunch). Updated from previous review on 2025-06-23
our server was paige and she was the BEST <3 i got the “trust me” salad and it was so fresh and amazing. we had such a lovely afternoon lunch here :)
I had talked to my husband about taking him here for quite some time and we finally got to go together and it was wonderful. This place is a must stop
Outstanding place! A go to when I’m Greenbriar Valley. Great team and the food and service is always the best! Love the menu and atmosphere! A must!!!!
Tortilla chips were amazing! Loved the seasoning on them. The service is always great. What a wonderful cafe!
Burger was tasteless. I chose “chips” rather than pasta salad. Waitress failed to specify that her idea of chips were tortilla chips. This is America, burger and chips are potato chips.
We were visting WV over the Memorial Day Holiday weekend and found the Stardust Cafe in a small beautiful town. The food, service and people are amazing. Would definately go back for more of their delicious cuisine and highly recommend for others to try!
Dan is an excellent chef!!! Food was incredible! Our waitress Miss ma’am (Haley) was AWESOME! Great personality and phenomenal service with a smile. Best we have had on our trip.

Just a simple burger became a royal treat! Seasoned perfectly and dressed with delicious pesto mayo, this burger was piled high with great meat, fresh lettuce and a tomato that actually tasted like a tomato! Staff was friendly and attentive and we loved the a-door-able tables! Even the canned music was fun. Definitely recommend!
Just plain rude staff. It’s almost like they don’t want you there. Condescending is the norm here, won’t be coming back
The ribeye was excellent as was the salmon. Also enjoyed was the cod and lobster pasta and the curried chicken. A very good wine selection. And the service was great.
$32 + tip for a mediocre lunch. Cup of soup, spoonful of pasta salad, and veggie sandwich add chicken (1/2 a breast?). Every time I try SD, I am disappointed. Prices are 4-star, food is 3, at best. Staff moves very slowly, and portion sizes are 'NY style' - meaning, small. Lburg has some great eateries, then there are those riding on the 'boutique small town' train with prices that reflect the wish to be housed in NYC. Food and Friends just down the street never disappoints.
We had a great meal. My daughter and wife got hamburgers and I got the Gullino with pasta salad. My daughter and wife said they were the best hamburgers they ever ate. My meal was fantastic and the pasta salad was unique and awesome. One of the waitresses kept making my daughter cream sodas, which she loved. Definitely a place to eat at while in Lewisburg. I look forward to trying their dinner menu.
