The waitress failed to ask how I wanted my steak cooked and when it eventually came to the table, it was so rare there was blood on the plate and it was cold in the middle. Will not be going back!

Very nice chain restaurant with a top notch staff of friendly and helpful people. Food is very good, with plenty of options and a menu that includes specialty items that are rotated from time to time. Bento boxes and made to order sashimi and sushi are all very good!

I'm in visiting Logan WV from Ohio and decided to try Yamato's restaurant out. Worst mistake of my life IT IS COCKROACH MOTEL THERE AND HAD A HALF COOKED FLY ? ON MY PLATE OF FOOD .I'll never recommend this place to anyone ever its filth I did not pay for the food or drinks so watch your surroundings and food if you go there .. its only rated a 1 star due to I couldn't send without it but my rating is -0 June 29 2023

I keep trying to like this place because it's local and convenient and I don't always feel like driving to Hibachi in Charleston. The restaurant needs better ventilation. I always have to place my order as "to go" so I can cut up the chicken into smaller bites and reheat everything in a wok at home. My recent order of teriyaki chicken had no teriyaki? And the dressing was too watery.
