Our group of 10 visited this restaurant as it was very close to the Appalachian outpost! We stayed onsite at the cabins doing some side x side riding.
This place is very convenient. We’ve gone to this place different multiple times on different trips. The food is average but I will say the service is slow. They simply don’t have enough servers for any real amount of customers! The pretzel appetizer was pretty good and the Philly cheesecake was pretty good. We will go back simply because this is an onsite restaurant of the resort!

Great Atmosphere. Large group of us and everyone loved the food. For a Wednesday night they had 1 girl ( Brittany) working the front. She was a bad ass!!!

Sadly, after a great time here in 23, this weekend wasn't that great. Saturday, they had a live band. Really wanted to enjoy them but it was almost impossible to get served. Told "we'll get to you." Our group was here 3 nights in a row, when they weren't busy, but can't get a round of drinks or even place a food order.

I definitely recommend coming here! The food was amazing, so many beers on tap, the staff was so friendly. You can definitely tell that they are understaffed but being in the restaurant business myself I can’t help but appreciate the great work they do. Service is definitely a little slow but they make up for it with amazing service and amazing food! I was never disappointed in a meal here, we stayed at Appalachian Outpost and having this restaurant on site was definitely one of the best perks, after riding all day coming here for a cold drink and great food was awesome! We went every night it was open while we were there, they remembered us, remembered that it was my birthday & they gave us a free dessert! I couldn’t recommend this place more! The waffle on the dessert menu is probably the best thing I have ever tasted !!!

We went here on a Saturday night, thinking this would be a cool place to try. You would think there would be more than 2 servers, one of which was working behind the bar, on a Saturday night. The place itself is neat, and set up well. Service and food were horrible. Cold food, grilled chicken sandwiches that didn't even cover half of the bun, burned onion rings, etc. Don't even ask how long we went before our drinks were refilled. Cool place, needs a lot of internal work.

We have visited twice. The atmosphere was great and waitresses was nice but the food was not good either time.

This is one of not the best place I’ve ever been to eat and have a drink. I travel about 300 days a year and I must say I am very impressed with the broken axle restaurant very friendly and beautiful staff

Went with a large group of people. The atmosphere is chill but nothing to write home about.The first waitress kept 'overlooking' me and I had to keep getting her attention to order anything. The second waitress was more engaged with everyone, including myself.The food was timely but WAY over-salted. I ordered the burger and the salt was on the toasted bread that served as the bun.
