You can't go wrong at Hoss's. The soup, salad and dessert bar is most popular. I like the sandwiches also such as the Philly cheese steak. Also, the steak tips are always a good meal and always prepared just right. They have private rooms for large groups and an overall large dining room that is good for large families.

This place is horrible. Read the reviews and decided to give it a try per reviews. Oh my god! Run Far away. Absolutely the worst salad bar, soups were at least a day old, stale food, nothing worth eating there. NOT not fresh.fast food is better than this hell hole.

Our server, Alex, was on point with drink refills. Hoss's in Winchester, VA was always one of my favorites. Now the closest one is the location in Martinsburg. Worth the drive from Winchester!

My wife and I are in town celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, and we decided to stop here for a nice dinner, and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and all the staff was friendly. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!!

3 ribeye steaks, all were so tough a fork couldn't even poke into them. Supposed to be cooked medium, were all closer to well done. No marbling in a ribeye?? Worst meal I've ever had. None of us could eat it . Only gave 1 star because I had to give one.

it's a nice quiet place, however this was my 3rd time at this 1, and everytime the salad bar area is lacking, vegetable is pretty empty the soups were empty and even the ice cream area was empty in a lot of containers

Stopped here on 6/20/25 on our way home from a week in Pennsylvania. We ordered steaks, with one side each and the salad bar. Everything was good. The steaks were cooked to a perfect medium rare. Definitely impressed by this. The dudes and salad bar were good as well. If we're passing through the area again and want to stop for a meal, we're definitely going to stop here at Hoss's......
