We took my parents there today for there 63 wedding Anniversary meal! My mom loves there fried Oysters . They didn't start serving there regular menu items till 2:00 we were early. They found out my mom wanted oysters and management made it happen.
From the service to the exceptional food and atmosphere. It was definitely a great experience!,love this place!

Worst dining experience ever and have been going here for years 10 plus and have never experienced this. The last few times were medicore but today Food was terrible( shrimp scampi) tasted like old oil and lemons and baked potatoes tatsed like water absored in them and mushy and service was trash. And when ordering a glass of water 2 times only got half glasses of water then left with no drink and over 10 minutes.. also only drinking water because they have 7 beers on tap and out of 4. Also food made me sick 20 minutes after eating it and also servers were more worried about watching a foot ball game.or being on their phones then helping customers and also tried to take my plate before I was done. Did not ask or question just said and your done and went to grab my plate and asked my husband if he wanted a box thought while he was still eating but only said that after he asked for a full glass of water. And it is sad because we have always loved kitzies but these past few months it has gone down hill bad... bad for business and I will keep this post up and share it every where unless management reaches out to me with a positive resolution and no I do not want a refund..I just want it fixed

My first time trying this place since moving to the wv panhandle , I wasn’t
Impressed by this place. I liked the ambiance but the service and portions of food was very underwhelming . The waitress seemed new and uncomfortable but nice , she forgot my sides with my meal . Their portion sizes were laughable for the price, in addition to forgetting my sides . I do not believe the prices justify the service you get here and the portion size . I might try this place one more time and I’ll maybe change/update my review

Warm atmosphere, very sweet waitress. My 1st meal in WV, and it was amazing. Crab dip, scallops, even the mixed drinks were a perfect ratio, which a lot of cocktails aren't made like today. Would go back 10000x. Good food for the price too.

Crab dip is amazing and I am not typically a seafood person.

And the Servers don't offer you A1 which is amazing cause if you need A1 the steak isn't good. Just saying....

All I can say about this restaurant is
WOW! ?
In spite of the fact they were experiencing a shortage of staff, the service was beyond superb!

The food was excellent!
We ordered stuffed mushroom appetizers, which were delicious, and they were stuffed with crab imperial that was the best!

Hubby ordered the Chesapeake Haddock (a nice piece of haddock topped with crab imperial) with green beans and a side garden salad. He ate all of his food and was very happy with each dish.

I ordered a strawberry margherita that was quite tasty, the Crab Cake dinner with baked potato and a side salad.
The crab cakes were something else! They were good size and beautiful. Not to mention delicious!
They were the best I've had in a very long time. They were not full of fillers. They are the original crab cakes. ?
If you want to know what crab cakes are truly supposed to taste like, come here to Kitzies.

The dessert options were presented, lemon, chocolate, or coconut cakes. It was a hard decision, but we decided on a piece of coconut cake to take with us as we could not eat another bite.
And don't let me forget they also have an outdoor dining area.

This is the first time I've been back in about 10 years. I remember service being slow back then, but we were flat out ignored this time. After sitting at a table with many staff members walking by without acknowledging our existence, we left. It's a shame, because the food that other tables received looked and smelled good.

The food is always good from Kitzies. But, this location is lacking in customer service and service. Our waitress would vanish for 15-20 mins at a time and the only other person working was the bartender. She came over once when the entire table was out of drinks but overall poor service experience.

This was my very FIRST meal in the state of West Virginia and I absolutely loved it. Before my main entree, they served me some rolls. They were absolutely the BEST TASTING ROLLS that I ever had in my life. I am not joking in the least bit. My main entree was the Atlantic Salmon (topped with a Honey BBQ type glaze) platter, with broccoli and a baked potato. LORD HAVE MERCY ON MY SOUL. It all was prepared and tasted EXTREMELY good. I will definitely pay them a visit again in the near future. Well done, Kitzie’s!

This is a beautiful rustic spot with the best cream of crab soup, jumbo lump crab cake and stuffed mushroom you will ever have. Setting was easy, service had nothing but smiles (shout out to Jade for the fabulous suggestions and drinks!) we enjoyed our time in West Virginia and visiting Kitzie’s just added to it!

Brunch was wonderful. Price was amazing. Loaded bloody mary (crab meat, shrimp, bacon, and more) was delicious for $7. Highly recommend. Chesapeake omelet fantastic.
