New Star Viet Bistro- Vietnamese Restaurant & Boba Tea

What a surprise to find this Vietnamese restaurant treasure in West Virginia! The grilled chicken cabbage salad was spectacular with a light homemade dressing that will awaken your tastebuds. We can’t wait to come back and try the Bahn Mi and Pho, for which we have high expectations as the chef, Andy, learned his cooking skills while growing up in the restaurant business in Saigon. I grew up in Northern Virginia and this restaurant will give the best Vietnamese restaurants in the DC area a run for their money. Please keep up the quality and great work!

Awesome great soup

Ariana was an absolute pleasure! She took care of me and helped me find things to eat,as right now I’m on a gluten and dairy free diet,and that’s sometimes hard to navigate in restaurants. She was very accommodating and welcoming, even though I came in 23 minutes before they closed! They did not make me feel bad about that and they told me I could dine in even though they were closing up for the day. That made me feel very good, especially since it was a busy Friday night out and they’re not a lot of places to go out to that aren’t packed. The food was delicious. I enjoyed it immensely as it was my first time eating Vietnamese food she made a lot of great suggestions which I enjoyed and even took home some leftovers, I felt the portions were very generous!

First time my husband and I went, let’s just say it won’t be the last time!! Every single thing is AMAZING! Our server was great, food was delicious, and overall a really great experience! I have tried a lot of Vietnamese places, and this being so close to home is just a blessing! We also got the cold cut bahn mi to take home and it was so good!! Highly highly recommend!

Food is great, customer service is trash. There was only one other party eating, and there were 4 waitresses just wandering about. Waited for service for almost 25mins before walking out. They didn’t even ask what we wanted to drink… Hate to see such good food gate-kept behind bad customer service.

Viet Bistro is hands down one of our favorite spots! The pho is incredibly flavorful and always hits the spot. Every dish we’ve tried has been so fresh and delicious. On top of that, the owners are absolutely wonderful—so welcoming and friendly. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food with amazing service, this is the place to go!

Bright, clean restaurant convenient stop from i81. Have only tried the Pho so far, but continue to get it each time, would recommend.

Overall, atmosphere was clean, menus were on the table, service was good. Took a bit to get the main dishes. The tofu crispy spring rolls were delicious, and the brown sugar milk bubble tea tea was very good as well. There was little to no steak in the steak pho, and the broth was more on the sweet side, but over all not bad.
