Wow what amazing barbecue. I was up from Maryland and I thought Maryland's barbecue was pretty good until I had oakwood's BBQ. I love how they have a nice outdoor picnic table area with plenty of room. Good food good people Good Times highly recommend them

Don’t let this place fool you by the location. When I say this is good local BBQ… I mean it! We got at OakWood a little late and many items were already sold out. However, we ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich and it was delicious (especially with the Pink Cadillac Sauce). My family member loved the Collar Greens as it had a little spicy taste to it. Not to mention, the Mac & Cheese was delicious. Everything is tasted so good. They are only open 2 days each month. Next time I plan to try their smash burgers and more on the menu. I know they are small business the price is a little steep, but you can’t go wrong the food at all. I’ll definitely be back. Best BBQ in the whole Martinsburg.

The line is always long, expect to be waiting over 30min (outside) unless you are one of the first ones there. That said, I've never left the line because the food is good and the people are kind. They are only open every now and then, you have to watch their Facebook page. Recommended, but bring weather appropriate dress and accessories.

Found this great little butcher shop online. Came in from out of town for the holidays and ordered our Thanksgiving ham and turkey from here and OMG this place is amazing and absolutely to die for.

I stopped in to have lunch Sunday and ended up ordering a majority of the menu to share back at home. We loved it all. The half pound brisket and half pound pulled pork came with some lovely add-ons, including pickled cauliflower and a cucumber salad.We enjoyed all of the sides, including a impulse but of the smoked sausage, which was cheese-filled.

We had the brisket sandwich a chicken plain tater tots and an order of macaroni and your first fight is kind of like wow because you don't really know what to think because it's different but it's definitely not a bad thing because I absolutely loved it didn't get any pictures but you do get a decent amount of meat on your sandwich and the tater tots are amazing I definitely recommend

I heard about Oakland BBQ Company through a friend about how good the food was. I brought several brisket and cheddar sandwiches and ribs and all the sides they had to offer. Everything thing was amazing and probably the best I've had in this area in a really long time!! I shared with some of my family and friends and they all agreed how good it was as well!!! I been telling eveyone from my friends,family and the people I work with how amazing it was. I will definitely be back regularly as a 100% satisfied customer! Continue the good work guys!!!!
I was really excited to try this place out I also do bbq and love when a new place opens up, but was really just disappointed at the end. Got there at 12pm when they opened and there was a line which was fine. I don’t mind that but where it got to be a problem was people kept cutting in line. One or two people is one thing but they would show up and jump in line with their friends and it would be like 4 to 5 people so what could have been a 30min wait turned into 1 hour and 20 mins because of everyone cutting. It was more of a party area, no organization. Now onto ordering I wanted to get half pound of slice brisket and one beef rib their menu is online so you know what they have when you get there, brisket was $14 half pound and the beef rib was $17.50 sold per rib per pound. When I went to order, no sliced brisket you could only get sandwiches so I got a brisket sandwich paid 14 dollars for it when on their website it says 12 dollars. Went to get the beef rib it was gonna be 55 dollars it was automatically 1.5 pounds they didn’t even weigh it. So I didn’t get the beef rib. Got the wasabi slaw and my friend got the Mac and cheese they wanted my name for the order but did I not receive a receipt. Now waiting for the food, after 5 people that ordered after me got their food and ordered way more food then me, I asked about mine they didn’t even have my order. They asked if I paid and what I got after that was figured out I got my food so now on to eating, the brisket sandwich was ok pickles were good but that’s about it. Brisket was tender but there was no flavor, very under seasoned and greasy. My buddy said the Mac and cheese was just ok the wasabi coleslaw was ok not very balanced little too much wasabi, it overpowered it. Their sauces were ok the vinegar one was good, nice tang and spice. The mustard one was too thick and lacked flavor. The mayo based one had something in it that was a little overpowering and the regular sweet bbq sauce had way to much cumin in it for me. All that being said the people working inside were very nice and polite.

Oakwood BBQ has phenomenal food and service! Their new location provides a large, grassy area with many picnic tables and a fun environment for kids. I find myself hanging out long after the food is gone. Some of our favorites are the loaded tots, Brisket Sammie, Loaded Monty, sausages, and I in particular hope they bring back the smash burger! Their sauces and the time they take with their dishes set them apart from the competition. Their unique sides and ever evolving dishes are a testament to their dedication to their craft. They also have huge portions which makes it fun to share dishes or have enough leftovers for many more meals. The ice cream sandwiches they sell are also divine!Kid-friendliness: Lots of room for kids to play. No worries about noise or mess!Parking: There’s parking available in their lot and across the street at the church.

The best bbq I've had in a long time from Washington DC all the way to Western MD/ West Virginia. The food at Oakwood bbq is absolutely worth the drive( even for the sauce which I normally do not use). I have waited for a month for the grand opening and it didn't disappoint. The food was fresh off the smoker, the service and atmosphere was friendly and professional... I highly recommend Oakwood bbq Company,?.
