I absolutely love this place! I have been coming here for many years. My kids get a healthy dinner of Satay chicken, steamed broccoli, and white rice. I always order the Hunan chicken. Mr. Kane is still pouring the best cocktails around even though I no longer drink alcohol. They give you complimentary fried wonton chips with hot mustard and duck sauce. They are always so kind to my children and they beg to go there. I have never had unsatisfactory food here in 30 years of dining even when the restaurant ownership has changed. I don't order Chinese food from anywhere else.

Food was disgusting. Every thing in purchased was gross. Egg roll was filled with mushy, slimy grease—inedible. Chicken was so over cooked it was like eating jerky. Walnut shrimp was bad as well tasted like the shrimp was under cooked- then the order of shrimp fried rice was greasy. I threw this entire order in the trash and made some eggs instead at my house I was quite disappointed.

Honestly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had! I ordered the triple delight. It smelled of very strong fishy smell and tasted like it was seasoned with old bay. The beef lomein was dry and rubbery, egg roll was mushy. I will never order again!

Very good food. We enjoyed spicy chicken and fried rice and rice noodle with beef. Beef sticks for appetizers and was fun to use the mini grill at the table. We will definitely return.

The food was extremely unpalatable; the kung pao shrimp was drenched in an excessively salty sauce, and the white rice was saturated with soy sauce. There was nothing appealing about the meal, as even the egg rolls were overly salty and quite unpleasant. It is clear why they struggle to attract customers.

I can only judge according to my dish which was the house egg foo yung and hot n sour soup. This IS NOT a fast food restaurant. The food was prepared fresh to order. The taste, quality and presentation was done exceptionally well. Very nice historical atmosphere. Service was friendly and welcoming. Roomy place. Bathrooms could require more frequent attendance based on my and family experience. I would still return here for the food. Entire family of 5 were very satisfied. 👍

We just picked up chicken wings from here about 40 min ago for dinner and we were so excited but once we started to eat every single chicken wing was red with blood inside, not a single one was cleaned at all. So horrible and never again will we order from here!!!

Best I could give overall is a 3. On the positive side prices very reasonable, lunch portions nice size, the General Chicken was excellent one if the best I have had. Very good taste and heat. Service was also great. On the downside building has definate unpleasant animal odor, which almost made us turn around walking in. No buffet available on Saturday, Fried Rice was nothing special white rice tossed with soy sauce is all at least it was not yellow and loaded with MSG. Egg roll greasy and sodas were flat. Not opposed to trying again if location could overcome negatives. The general chicken was that good to give them another try.

Ate there yesterday and the food on the buffet line was not fresh and the noodles were cold. Not a lot of flavor either.. was not worth the money.. wife got sick to her stomach about 10 mins after we’re were done eating. I don’t believe it was food poisoning, since she’s fine today.. maybe the oil was just cold or too much grease in everything??… idk.. but food should taste good and be enjoyable… that was not a good experience for any of us that went… The shrimp eggrolls were good though..

Was hesitant to go after reading negative reviews. Went on a Sunday afternoon, party of 6 plus 2 babies. Waitstaff was kind and attentive. Some of us ordered the buffet, which was reasonably priced. They were glad to accommodate and change out any buffet options for what we wanted. A few of us ordered off the menu. Singapore noodle was excellent. Kungpao Shrimp had just the right amount of heat and spice. Peking (can’t remember name) was very good. The buffet had an acceptable variety, and what was seemed was good. The fish was tender and flaky, the fried shrimp were jumbo and tasty, and the chicken dishes were all good. Waitstaff did not act put out by our need for extra cleanup from feeding the 1yr old. Didn’t smell any mothballs or weird smells. The atmosphere was great for an older building with character.
Kid-friendliness: Waitstaff were very accommodating for our 6 mo old and 1 yr old. They had high chairs, distilled water for one’s bottle, and treated us kindly in spite of the mess we made.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant itself was wheelchair accessible. The hard part was getting from the car to the wheelchair. We will look for other parking options next time, since right in front of the restaurant isn’t favorable.
