The Purple Iris at Hartwood Mansion

We had our wedding at The Purple Iris in October. Nikki and her staff were absolutely incredible! I could not have dreamt of a better wedding day! Their attention to detail and willingness to help is unmatched! They took an incredible amount of stress of this bride. The food was also wonderful! This venue & staff exceeded our expectations! We can't recommend The Purple Iris enough and we will definitely be back for future events! 10/10 recommend!

Nikki and her team were amazing to work with for our PJs and Santa event. Everything was beautifully decorated, the staff made the even flow smoothly, and they even dressed to the event theme.
From the planning process, to the day of the event, communication was seamless and everything was truly well executed.

Beautiful place, bland food

The staff at Purple Iris are so accommodating! They communicate throughout the event and we enjoy all the beautiful Christmas decorations. If you're hosting an event, we recommend you consider Purple Iris.

The Purple Iris was the perfect venue for our wedding day on 10/26/25. Nikki and Destiny worked VERY hard to ensure that our rehearsal dinner and wedding day were just what we wanted and made sure that everything went smoothly. Communication with the venue staff throughout the planning process and day of the wedding was stellar as well. I would 100% recommend this venue for any special event. Added bonus--they are LGBTQ+ friendly!

The purple iris had us from the start! They showed us our expected cost for the wedding when we toured the space! Everything was beautiful and we loved the area from the start! Our wedding was absolutely beautiful! The staff was amazing! They went above and beyond for us. This is a beautiful venue with great/experienced employees.

We attended an Anniversary Celebration there several weeks ago. This venue was perfect. The food was great. The staff was attentive and very polite. I never heard of the Purple Iris before this, but would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to celebrate a special occasion with friends and family at a beautiful historical home, convenient to this area. A hidden jewel indeed!

Eternally grateful to the Purple Iris for giving us the wedding of our dreams. Nikki worked with us to make sure we had everything we wanted. She was accommodating to any requests or questions I had. Nikki and Gin were the two working our wedding and they did a beautiful job. They made sure everyone was taken care of throughout the whole day. It was the most special day of my life and we couldn’t have done it without them.

This a wonderful place. It is so beautifully decorated, the stag is excellent, and the food well prepared.
