We bought two smoothies, both were less flavorful than other Tropical Smoothies and consistency was primarily ice.

As a restaurant owner who understands the importance of customer service and hospitality, I’m truly disappointed by the treatment I received today at Tropical Smoothie Café around 4:30 p.m.

I was met with rudeness and disrespect by the two employees working at the time something I’ve never experienced in all my years of dining and doing business. When I tried to place my order, I was told “no” because they didn't get my order at the screen, followed by dismissive behavior and laughter. That kind of response is not only unprofessional, but downright unacceptable.

To be clear: this isn't just about a smoothie. It's about how customers are treated. As someone who serves the public every day, I know firsthand how hard this industry can be but I also know that basic respect and decency should never be negotiable.

I will be sharing this incident across all my blogging and review platforms because businesses need to be held accountable especially when they fail their customers so blatantly.

To the management: I hope this reaches you, and I hope your team is reminded of what hospitality is supposed to mean no matter color, race, gender or religious beliefs.

Took about 15 minutes for anyone in the back to notice I was there the girl was talking in the back to her coworkers. Then when they did finally notice me she didn’t seem to care that I have been waiting for a while. Food isn’t bad just service sucks.

I love their smoothies but their food and drive thru need some attention. The food is always skimpy so I don’t order food from here anymore. I got their chicken quesadilla twice and both times had hardly any chicken and mostly cheese. The drive thru is also frustrating here. There’s been multiple times when the drive thru is cash only and today I went to order a smoothie and they came over the speaker to say they weren’t accepting drive thru orders so I would have to come in, which I didn’t want to do so I left.

This place sucks with food. Smoothies are fine but they skimp on food every single time. They are always low on staff and it shows in their food. It's really irritating

I wish I could say more but this business establishment was not appeasing whatsoever. The place was clean. None of the workers wore hair nets. I have a bad fettish about hair in my food so hair nets are definitely a must for me. The worker attending to me didn’t seem to know exactly what she was doing. There were NO customers there. Hopefully it gets better but as of now it’s a no no for me.

ordered online and paid. showed up for my order and no one is there 45 mins after they say online and on the door that they are open. called corporate for a refund since I did not get my order and they say they have to submit a request to see if I can even get my money back

I had lunch here & had ordered a mixed berry bowl. I was enjoying up until I saw a worm inside my bowl so I quickly went to tell the employees that there was a worm in my bowl. Nobody really said much nor apologized, nothing but little kids working there, not very well dressed for work either. I got a refund but with no apology nor a “have a good day” all the “manager” had to say about it was “ewww” as her co worker showed her the work in my bowl.

This is the second time I have ordered from this location. I haven't been here in a while because the first time My smoothie was thin Because they barely put any peanut butter in it, plus The ice wasn't fully blended. This time, there was chunks of ice through the whole thing and then 4 big chunks of ice the size of cherry tomatos at the bottom. Whenever I order from Hagerstown which is at least once a week, I don't get any problems like this.

I just went here with my family. This is the 1st time we have been and all just wanted to get smoothies. My daughter wanted to try the sunrise sunset and really did not like it. Not the fault of the smoothie just that she didn't like it. I took it back and asked the girl if she would make another one for us because she didn't like it. I just wanted to say thank you so much for doing it! It was a special treat for us and not cheap so I was so happy when she said she would make her a different one and oh my goodness my daughter was SO SO happy! So thank you again to everyone there. Everyone there was happy and smiling and very friendly. Thank you for the best experience!

Food and drinks are ok but always a 50/50 shot their done right. Main issue is when you go through drive-through and pay with Apple Pay the little machine they hand you will ask for a tip and if you had no tip, it beeps loudly and says bad tip on the screen. Like no I don’t tip drive through windows. At a sitdown restaurant I tip over 20%, but I am not tipping for a drive-through window, pay your workers a livable wage and stop relying on the customer to pay your employees.
