Never expected to find delicious Mexican food in what seems to be in the middle of nowhere! Located in a cute historic town just down the road from where we stayed. Excellent food and even better service! It was also very clean. I will be back if/when I find myself back in the area.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and they were very accommodating.

I have traveled all over the United States. I usually go to a Mexican restaurant when I do travel. Mi Pueblito has the best tasting Mexican food hands down! Alex and his staff are absolutely awesome! Their chicken fajitas are my absolute favorite!

We have visited Matewan, WV three times now, but our first trip to Mi Pueblito. We just got done riding and wanted to eat something quick because it was very warm & humid outside. The owners husband sat us in the front of the restaurant, which had a nice area and an air conditioner vent!We had a wonderful dinner--highly recommend the chicken-pineapple fajitas!! Service was excellent and our food came out quickly AND HOT!! The owner spoke with us a long time as well!!Had a great meal and enjoyed the whole dining experience!!

I ordered the smothered in cheese chicken. It was very good! Alex and his wife were excellent hosts. We ate at multiple places this trip and this was by far the best priced! I highly recommend you give them a try and I will return!

Great food options for vegetarians ?. It is a perfect lunch stop over while you’re out off-roading on Hatfield McCoy trails. They serve salsa and cheese sauce with the chips to get started. Highly recommended!
