We were on vacation and were staying in a vrbo rental five minutes down the road. This a local mom and pop owned restaurant were everyone there is your friend. Our waitress Lisa was friendly and we had a great conversation with her. We got appetizers of cheese sticks and fried pickles. We both got the deluxe cheeseburger combo, I got onion rings and my husband got fries. There batter for fried food is utterly heaven. They know how to prepare a meal here, it was some of the best food we have eaten. Portions are large and price is low, very affordable! Would recommend this place 200%

We visited recently and the service was great. We especially liked the pizza and the fries with cheese and bacon. The salads were fresh and the portions generous. I can't wait to eat here again when I'm in the area.

This is a small place and they have some off the wall dishes. The loaded bake potatoe is so large you can't finish it. We were there for dinner and only one waitress but she did her best. The cook took pride in his food and was worth the wait.

Cute little restaurant in the middle of somewhere. It has an address though, but we were on our way back to Columbus from Virginia and were looking for breakfast at 8:00am. Luckily we found this place in the middle of nowhere. And to our surprise the breakfast was very yummy. Our server was so so so good. She was so polite and helpful. Such a cozy place feels like home. This place has homely feeling. Its interior is simple yet antique. Nice little fire place inside, art work hanging on the wall which you actually buy. I loved the view it has near the window seatings. Mountains and coffee wow!!! Their side of fried potatoes are tasty. French toast is so fluffy and yummy. We visited on a Sunday early morning and the place was full of lively people hanging over coffee and chitchat. Many things will come to life while you sit and eat there like their cute curtains will tell you a story, the window with a mountain view will look like a movie screen. Perfect family and friends place to come and eat. I loved it.

We have property in Mathias WV. Been traveling their fir 23 years. The Homeplace is the only place to get breakfast on a Sunday morning when we are heading home. This is a small diner, food is good and cooked to order. Everyone is friendly and will have conversations. We always enjoy going there

THEY ARE TERRIBLE. Half the time their food isn't even done cooking. Save your money for a place with real standards.
