The best Mex restaurant around
Great food yum good service
I used to take my family and friends here to eat often but not anymore. More recently, the service has been very poor to say the least. Almost every time I order takeout, something is wrong or missing. The last 2 times it has been my large queso dip that was missing. Tonight I placed an order for a large queso dip and a steak fajita with double rice. The seemingly confused man on the phone claimed he did not hear me say I wanted a large queso when I called back to inform them...read full review

El Jalisco is a 5-star restaurant with amazing Tex-Mex food and top-notch service. The cheesy queso and cream burrito are must-tries. The ambiance is fantastic, with street views and outside seating. The Texas fajitas are particularly delicious. However, some customers feel that the ingredients are not quite up to par with authentic Tex-Mex cuisine. The tortillas taste store-bought, and the salsa lacks spice. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with a ramp to the front door, but the narrow aisles and close tables may make maneuvering difficult. Overall, El Jalisco is a great spot for Tex-Mex food and excellent service, but some authenticity may be lacking for those with more discerning tastes.
