We ate lunch there last weekend during a visit to Lost City, WV. We were a party of 4 and 3 of us got the grilled ham and cheese sandwich. We are still raving about how good it was. The service was awesome and the history of the building was interesting.

We were hesitant to try this place, but we were so glad that we did! The restaurant has such interesting history, friendly service, and delicious food! We took photos of the bread rolls "stamped" with "1847." They even had a nice drink list! Moorefield is a tiny little mountain town and Mullin's 1847 makes it a must-try if you're in the area!

The food was good waitress was very nice and fast. The only issue I had was it was cold the entire time. I kept my coat on while we ate.

We stopped in for dinner on our way back from Cass WV to the DC metro area. The hostess was great, seating us right away and then reseating us on her own initiative when some little kids got noisy. The food was great. I had the open face turkey special, since Thanksgiving is coming... Other members of my group had the meatloaf, which was amazing... Meatloaf is one of those dishes that tells you all you need to know about a cook and kitchen - and this set a new standard. And to top it off, they had apple pie... so this road trip was a complete success.
We took my mother for her birthday dinner all aspects were top notch. Service, food, food selection, beer selection and atmosphere. We really liked our lunch at the this restaurant. My daughter ordered a Crab Cake sandwich. She said it was the best ever. I had a pasta with shrimp and broccoli. It was a little too oily on my taste. The greatest plus was - dogs were allowed on the terrace as we were returning home from our camping trip. Our waitress was extremely accommodating and super friendly.
