Best pupusas I’ve ever had! always stop here on the way to and back from Davis
Just stopped by for lunch, not sure how we've overlooked this gem! we ordered three different entrees, the mixed fajita, the Honduran plate and the Salvadorian plate. All were excellent. The steak was perfectly seasoned and tender! We will definitely be back.

Pupuseria Emerita offers a cozy atmosphere with friendly service and delicious papusas, especially the chicken and cheese and beans and cheese varieties. Customers appreciate the fresh, clean environment and the Plate from Honduras. This is a real food spot. The food is delicious and extremely authentic. The people are the nicest you’ll ever meet. The workers were kind and provided fast and efficient service. It's a nice cozy spot. They had a great meal on a road trip! Everything was fresh and made to order and everyone was super nice. They got pupusas, a pork taco, a baleada sencilla and a quesadilla. Everything was delicious. They would definitely come back! They had the pupusas and steak and plantains, everything was amazing. The nondescript location might fool you but don’t let it. The restaurant is a hidden gem with authentic, flavorful food and friendly staff. The place has plenty of parking, accepts both cash and credit cards, and is wheelchair accessible.
