What a treat to have lunch at Colasante’s. The service was excellent and the Italian Sub was amazing! An extra treat to try the dill pickle pizza, which made me want more! A true local gem with excellent food! Support local, you won’t be disappointed!
Worst pizza ever ...tasted like cardboard dry and disgusting..I called after one slice the girl said that's why they do not recommend the Buffalo chicken pizza because it is so dry ...I asked for other food or pizza to replace they said no because I ate a slice...lol

Good service and atmosphere, but the food was a little bland. The chicken wing pizza needed more seasoning (at least some garlic) and the meatball sub needed more sauce. The fries didn't have any salt on them, but that's not really a bad thing because you can just add as much as you want from the table. It's probably better that way for most folks, actually. The crust was great, though; it was crispy on the outside and doughy/almost undercooked on the inside. Call me weird, but I like it like that. ??♂️ I think I would go back and just get a standard marinara style pizza next time.
They also play great music (classic rock and pop) and have lots of sports memorabilia lining the walls. Overall not a bad place and a classic restaurant in the area.

The service was great. The restaurant side is clean. Don't know anything about the pub side. Food was extremely bland. Salad is straight out of a 90s bowling alley. Chicken Parm tastes like I'm at a retirement home. Penne Italiano was like burping up Olive garden. Food should be half the size and twice the quality.

Personally, I love the New York white pizza. This is a new building as the original had a fire several years ago. I noticed this time a brick on the counter from the original building that had the Colasante's name imprinted on it.

I truly wish I could give zero stars. I was really hoping it would be good as it was not expensive and is not far from the WVU campus. After just a few bites I lost my appetite because of how bad the food was. I got a simple rigatoni with Alfredo sauce and even with the first bite there was a bitter after taste almost as if it was sour. I can definitely say throughout my next four years at WVU I will NEVER go to or recommend this place to anyone. Even my mother who is not AT ALL a picky eater did not like her food. Also it took me and my mother 5 minutes in the bathroom trying to get the soap dispenser to work before I gave up and used some hand sanitizer which leads me to believe that if employees use that bathroom they are not using soap to wash their hands. Absolutely disgusting!
