Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Come to this cracker barrel yearly. Usually the food and service is great. This visit One of our meals was fresh strawberry french toast bake. What we saw when opening the container was one little end peice and 2 bacon strips. very disappointing.

One of the few big chain restaurants I'll actually eat at and/or enjoy. Their pancakes have gotten sadder-looking over the years, but the new menu items are usually pretty neat. The Oreo cheesecake pancakes were dangerously good and I approve of the strawberry French toast bake from the bite I stole from my girlfriend. Chicken dippers were a bit chewy, but still good; the sauce selection/variety was nice too. Hash brown casserole was solid.

Service was cheerful, but our waitress kept forgetting stuff or taking too long for basic items.

Prices are pretty good.

The waitress was not very attentive and got it when we were ready to leave.

Parking: It was definitely the waitress. Almost ask for another. sorry. I am a really big cracker barrel fan.

I love Cracker Barrel, good food, great service, and atmosphere. I did experience a situation where I had a gift card that wouldn’t work. The cashier and her counter part couldn’t figure out why. The girl told her to call corporate to check on why it wouldn’t work, but she wouldn’t. So I am unhappy that I experienced that situation.

This place use to be great but now they stopped serving sirloin steak and only offer fatty overpriced new York strips shame gm saving money and charging more

If this was the first time I’d ever been to a Cracker Barrel I’d never go to another. Bacon was raw, toast was burnt, eggs were cooked too long, cheeseburger was even nasty. Not one person with me liked it. Total disappointment!

Waitress wasn’t very friendly,she have a bad attitude obviously, having a bad day, she didn’t explain what I was getting and I returned it. I always eat at Cracker Barrel and I’m 61. I’m in Morgantown frequently and I always picking chicken and dumplings, not chicken and dumpling soup that only had one dumpling In it and I had $50 bill I wasn’t happy so I’ll have to pick another restaurant!!!!!!

Saturday morning after everyone being cooped up at home. Noisy & crowded but minimal wait time.

On road all day. Felt like hot meal . Staying at hotel next door. Fried chicken cooked to death, sides cold. Lots of places to eat around hy, go elsewhere!!!

We attempted to eat at the Morgantown WV location on 2/8/2025 at around 6:30 PM. The restaurant was not busy. We we seated prompty in an area with only 3 other tables occupied. The outside temperature was around 45 degrees. The restaurant was extremely cold with AC running and ceiling fan on full blast. We sat there waiting for drink orders for 15-20 munutes. During this time, 2 seperate waitresses and a hostess came near our table without acknowledging our presense in any way, no eye contact, no "We will be with you shortly." Nothing. At this point we simply got up and left, at which point the hostess said, "Oh, did noone come wait on you?" We then stopped at the seating hostess and told what had happened. Her response was, "Well, you all have a good night." No attempt to rectify the situation in any way. I can't remember ever experiencing more crappy service anywhere. I will never come back to this location

Parking: Handicap parking makes no sense here.

The food and coffee was barely warm. The breakfast gravy tasted like flour, literally tasteless. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she explained that's how it is. No apologies and she left. I however mentioned it to the lady caring me out after waiting while she had a long conversation with the person in front of me. She did call the manager who offered to void my bill. I didn't want my bill voided, what I wanted was the waitress to acknowledge my issue and talk to me at my table so as not to have people waiting online to resolve my issue. PS, I paid the bill and won't return.

Usually really happy with this place, and we go often. Last time we went was pretty bad though. The hostess ignored us and seated someone that came in after us before we could even realize it was happening. It took forever for the food to come out, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting with no toilet paper, and at check out, wouldn’t you know it, the clerk skipped over us and checked someone else out ahead of us as well. Felt like I was taking crazy pills. I’ll admit, this was one experience out of many, but it really soured me to it.

Menu reductions are evident. Can't even buy a BLT.
