Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders

The chicken is good but the tenders are the size of my pinky finger. Disappointed.

I ordered a 7-piece chicken meal, which was supposed to include crinkle-cut fries. After driving 30 minutes home, I realized the fries were missing. This completely threw off our dinner plans, as my wife and I had planned to share the meal. Instead, we were left scrambling to make something else to fill the gap.

What’s worse is that this is the second time in a row my order has been wrong at this restaurant. I rarely complain, but this level of forgetfulness is disheartening. Not only was it inconvenient, but it ruined what should have been a simple, enjoyable meal. I’m deeply disappointed and unsure if I’ll be returning.

We got the Chicken sandwich on a bun and subbed the fries for chips, with a side of ranch. The sandwich was delicious with nice thick pickles on it, juicy chicken tenders with a nice crispy and flavorful crust, and then the signature sauce that comes on it that was comparable to a Zaxby's sauce - delicious - but needed more on the sandwich. The chips were outstanding and loved dipping it in their really delicious Ranch! (Try it!)

We also got a drink and tried the blackberry lemonade - IT WAS AMAZING - the perfect balance of sweet and tart!

Last - got a chocolate chip cookie and it was soft and had a really great flavor.

Overall - great experience - will definitely be going back.

We love their chicken! It’s always tender. Don’t care for their special sauce but other dips are good enough. The fries come seasoned.

Food is very good here. When they first opened it was the best chicken in Morgantown. I’m not sure if they switched their supplier but I’ve never seen chicken so small in my entire life. Tastes good but feels like a waste of money now.

We ate here because it is one of our son’s favorite places in Morgantown. They have a really good variety on the menu. The drink station was well stocked and my tea was great. I thought the food wasn’t really hot that’s the only reason for the star deduction. It tasted great though and I love the sauce the serve. Service was friendly, we were greeted quickly upon arrival and wished well as we left.

this was the best chicken that i have ever had while i have been on earth. the service was impeccable,fast and they are very kind. i recommend going here 10/10.

Okay first and foremost I have to say this was the best chicken tenders I have ever had! They were juicy and perfectly cooked and just so tender and delicious! The french fries paled in comparison as they seemed like frozen crinkle cut fries, seasoned with way too much seasoning afterwards. My only two complaints would be that there was quite a few flies in the dining room which was very frustrating. We sat towards the front but you could also see them back near the garbage cans. My second complaint is my husband ordered a grilled chicken tender Buffalo sandwich and instead received a breaded chicken tender sandwich. I had just got done asking the lady if they had grilled tenders without breading and she assured me they did. He specifically asked for a grilled Buffalo sandwich without breading and then whenever she asked for my order she asked if I wanted grilled also to which I replied no. But she must have keyed in wrong because while we were eating I checked and even our receipt did not say grilled. So needless to say he only ate one bite of his sandwich and neither one of us ate more than two french fries. But again my chicken tenders were top of the line!

This place has the best parmesan chicken tenders I have ever tried. I tried the blue razz lemonade and it was fantastic as well. Then for dessert I had the banana pudding. Everything was great. Most definitely will be a frequent visitor.

Food was good, but definitely not great. Boasting “The Filet Mignon of Chicken” for this feels criminal imo. Probably still would have given 4 stars if they included all my sauces ? I mean it’d be one thing if they were free….

I was very pleasantly surprised with my first visit to Huey Magoo's, where they only use the best 3% of the chicken tenderloin. The chicken was moist, yet not greasy. The breading was sufficient yet not too much. The fries were hot and came seasoned, a nice change from the other chicken joints I've tried. I will definitely be back to try an assortment of their large menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is limited in this area because it is always busy with the other shops in the area. Once inside the store though, it's easy to get around comfortably.

Ate here for the first time and was impressed. They are mainly known for their chicken tenders- supposed they use the top 3 percent of the chicken with they call the filet mignon of chicken. Combo meals are served with a side (fries or slaw) and a piece of Texas toast. They have a couple of sauces I believe but not the variety I would like to see. I enjoyed the chicken and sweet tea. Will be back again soon.
