Counter orders only. Small place that serves chicken strips ... spicy and plane. Assorted dips. Restaurant isn't fancy ... a good fit for college students on a budget.
Chicken was prepared well and very tasty. Better strips than the big chains. We will return.

On 9/9/25 at 8pm I didn’t like the service I received, I told the girl I wanted my chicken strip extra extra crispy and she told me that’s gay how I wanted my food cook, the laynes off hwy 6 and mission bends, my chicken was under cook and didn’t taste good.

Looking for some place to eat after visiting a relative at Ruby. Never heard of Layne's but was in the mood for chicken. Nice little spot on high street, parking right in front. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly. The chicken fingers, fries and sauces were delicious. Will absolutely be back next time we are in Morgantown.

At the suggestion of my daughter, I tried a 3 piece lunch the other day. Had to wait for it to cool off as it was served piping hot! Chicken was moist and tasty! Fries were good too and I liked the Layne’s sauce. I’ll go back for sure…maybe get a 4 piece next time!

The pink haired girl I think her name was Haley or something was so sweet and definitely makes me want to return. She took such good care of us I thought we were at Chick-fil-A because of how good the service was.

Haley (the girl with the pink hair) was so kind, and offered us fantastic service!!! The food was great, and she went above and beyond to serve us. She greeted us with a big smile and a positive attitude. She is an awesome employee! We will definitely be coming back because of her.

Layne's Chicken was great! We enjoyed their family box which had plenty to feed our family of 4. Twenty tenders, 4 Texas toasts, fries and plenty sauces. I would rate the tenders a 8/10. Very good, but not the best I've ever had.

I was raised on Raising Cane's, I will die loving Layne's. It's a way different perspective on taste and value.👌(WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE)

I’ve been here two times. The first time was okay. The last time, I placed a pickup order. The employee at the counter was dry and standoffish? It came across quite rude, considering all they had to do was find and hand me my food. I got home and found that I had been given someone’s half-eaten sandwich (not the five-finger meal I ordered) and had to remind them about the milkshake. I tried to call back to resolve the issue, but the line was sent to a voicemail and hung up. It was close to close, so I’ll give them that, but this kind of carelessness is just not it.
