Me and my boyfriend decided to try Lefty’s Place for dinner last night (01/24/25) after seeking recommendations from my family and friends on Facebook for a place with the best pizza and wings in Morgantown. This place was PACKED, which was the first indication that it served great food, and I wasn’t wrong. Hands down, it was the BEST pizza I’ve had in a long, long time! The ratio of toppings was perfect and they went all the way to the edge, so there was no dough left uncovered. The crust was crunchy but not hard, and each bite was just as good as the first one. We also had the bone-in wings, which were meaty and delicious and the sauces were fantastic! (I ordered the Sweet Heat sauce, and it was perfect for me because I can’t eat anything too spicy anymore). And I have to give a big shoutout to our waitress, Emily — she was awesome! She was very friendly and provided us with the best 5 star service! She didn’t miss a beat when it came to making sure we had everything we needed. My only overall critique is that it’s small inside and got pretty crowded and loud at times, but it was well worth it. We will definitely visit Lefty’s Place again soon! I had the fully loaded Detroit style pizza, and it was great! Sauce was really good, and everything else was made properly. Highly recommend.

We were in town for a hockey game and googled restaurants near me. Wings and pizza sounded good and it did not disappoint. We had Dixie gold wings, dirty Marylander wings, fries and a margarita detroit style pizza. Everything was amazing. Great service and good prices.

Some of the best wings I've had! They were perfectly crispy, juicy, and I enjoyed all the flavors I got. I can recommend the Old Bay, Sweet Heat, and the gold sauce. Speaking of sauce, the one on the pizza was sweet and flavorful; the garlic dipping sauce was also a welcome addition. The pizza was thick and doughy with crispy edges, the way a pizza of that style should be. My only complaints are that the garlic knots were dry and doughy, as if the dough hadn't been mixed properly. Additionally, the food is also more on the expensive side, but it beats the cheap chain stuff. Other than that, everything was great!
