The service was a little slow but the staff was so sweet that I honestly didn't mind. The atmosphere was super relaxing. The smells coming from the kitchen were pretty delicious too!

Got the fried catfish, shrimp combo with side of collard greens. Excellent food. Catfish would melt in mouth, it and shrimp perfectly seasoned. The collard greens are literally the best around. With out having to cook them my self. Banana pudding for desert, it was amazing. Food here has never disappointed. When eating there few months back, tonight.

The food here was very good. You could tell it was cooked fresh and it was delicious. I’d order takeout from them. The vibes and atmosphere inside the restaurant, however, were completely off. My party were the only people there at 7pm on a Friday night. The music was obviously playing from a Bluetooth connection to someone’s phone and it kept reconnecting loudly. There was an employee watching YouTube on a couch in the front. The menu had a lot of “unnecessary” quotation marks and misspellings. Honestly, I would go back here, mostly for the food and the extremely strange (but entertaining) vibes.

Incredible home cooked meal. We got the spicy fried chicken with collard greens, mac n cheese, candied yams, and sweet corn - plus banana pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious! My boyfriend said the yams were the best he’d ever had. If you’re looking for a wonderful home style meal, this is it (and thank you Cynthea for getting our food together right before y’all closed!).

The food is excellent. It was expertly cooked and seasoned. The chicken was juicy, tender, and flavorful. I also got the collard greens, and they were out of this world. Do yourself a favor, and eat here. So, so good!

Banana pudding was really good. Still not sure if the little cup is worth 8$. Mac n cheese was super greasy and and only a greasy flavor. Collard greens tasted funny. 2 pieces of chicken a little Mac and collard greens is not worth 16$. I will not be going back. Does not look or taste like true soul food.

Tried for the first time tonight. Absolutely legit food! The biscuits, gravy and fried chicken is so good that I got up from the table with a walk of shame! Lol. We will definitely be back!
