I’ve heard great things about this place and have been wanting to try it for a while, so my boyfriend and I went the other night. The service was amazing and our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The sushi and bulgogi were beautifully presented and ended up being very good. However, that night we ended up both getting food poisoning which was very disappointing for such a good experience :( We understand it happens sometimes though
My wife and I stopped at Ogawa on a recent trip and had the sushi and sashimi bento. My wife is Japanese and we returned from a trip to visit her family in the Adachi city Tokyo this past October. The sushi was comparable to what we had at local restaurants in Adachi City. Nice atmosphere with cool jazz music playing in the background. Will return next time we're through the area.
From the outside, this place is a little rough, not great parking, in the middle of other businesses. But oh my goodness, the food was amazing, the prices are so reasonable. The amount of food you get for the prices is perfect. I waited less than 5 minutes after ordering before my first sushi roll was brought to my table. It's so calm and relaxing here. It's definitely worth a 5-star review. I understand why it was rated BOM so many years!
