We went as a group and they divided the checks. Pizza is very good.
In town for a few days Geocaching. Trying to visit local places. This was very good and affordable
In Morgantown for the weekend for Geowoodstock XXI. After a long and busy weekend I really wanted some good pizza. I started googing and after seeing some reviewer photos I went with Pizza Al's.
From the phone call to pick up my service was fantastic. Super friendly customer service and fast. The pizza looked BOMB. I couldn't wait to try it and ate some in my car like a garbage gremlin. It was just as I had hoped it would be. Absolutely delicious!
It was just me so I ordered a small and it was 14inches. My largest pizza back home only hits that. And for only $9??? It has to be voodoo that it was good! If you're ever in the area I HIGHLY recommend Pizza Al's!
The best pizza I’ve had in my 39 years of life! Fantastic family run restaurant!
This is Irene & my go-to pizza shop Their pizza, regardless of what topping we pick(usually pepperoni, mushrooms &/or anchovies) is superb. Wings are excellent. Have had other menus items ( hoagies, etc). All very good. Frequent & excellent specials.
More bang for the buck for high quality food than any place that I know of.
Excellent 👌
Best pizza 🍕 in Morgantown.
Love it 👍👍👍👍👍
Best pizza, plenty of space, clean and nice atmosphere with helpful staff.
Love the pizza but was very disappointed with the inconsistency of their policy regarding under 18 in bar area.
I recently visited Pizza Al’s Bar in Star City by the coliseum with my two-year-old grandchild, only to be asked to leave because of their “no one under 18” policy. While I respect the right of any establishment to enforce its rules, I was frustrated to see that there were at least six other children, roughly between the ages of 8 and 12, still in the bar. When I asked why the rule was being applied inconsistently, I was told that ownership didn’t want babies there because they cry.
To make matters worse, I was told I could go to the other side of the establishment. However, the whole reason I was there was to be with friends for a celebration, and I didn’t want to be ostracized. If the policy truly prohibits anyone under 18, then it should be enforced consistently—not selectively based on personal assumptions about how a child might behave.
This kind of arbitrary enforcement makes for an unwelcoming and unfair experience. Families should be aware that, despite the posted rules, enforcement appears to be based on the whims of management rather than any clear standard. I probably won’t be returning.
Great local place. Pizza is great. Wings ok. Service is always great. Sitting at the bar is our fav.
My boyfriend and I stop by once a week after work. Never had any issues! Amazing every time and the people are so nice!!

I don't like giving poor reviews, I really don't, but this place earns it. Also, let me clarify this review is limited to the bar only. I've been here 4x now so what I'm about to say isn't a one off. The service is horrifically bad. Like, in the bottom 10% I've experienced. The problem is you can't get anyone to take an order. I haven't had a situation where they gave me the wrong thing or nothing at all, it's just that it takes forever to get to you. This seems to be even when fully staffed. Worst part is it appears the regulars get a little extra attention, which doesn't go unnoticed. Not a good way to grow your business. The food has been a mixed bag for me..the steak hoagie is good, not great, in my opinion. The Italian sausage and cheese handheld I had was terrible. It tasted like cardboard with a little marinara. The location is convenient for WVU sports, but that's about the only upside I can think of.
The white pizza was almost completely flavorless. I tried to fix it with my own seasonings, but to no avail. I wasn't impressed with the fried pepperoni rolls either and the marinara that came with them tasted weird.
The Italian sausage and cheese focaccia sandwich was really good, though. It had such good flavor and the bread was perfectly soft and spongy.
The price was fair, but it was quite a disappointing experience overall.
Great place and great people
