I've never eaten here, but the place, people, and vibe are great! It opens a little earlier later in the week. Therrle is a nice little deck out back too, if you smoke...or just prefer to drink outside! It gets a tad hot when the sun's out though... wouldn't hate some shade. Just sayin' 🍺😎🌞

Went here for 30 cent wings and found out only the first 10 per person were 30 cents each, and after that they were full price. Decided to leave and eat somewhere else. I would not have been bothered by this if I had known before trying to order, but all it said on the menu and sign was 30 cent wings. Felt deceptive. Waitress was nice, can’t comment on the food because I didn’t eat anything.

First time I have been in the Purple Cow. It was a legendary music venue at one time. The place had a decent amount of patrons. I talked to Michalyn (not sure of spelling) about hosting an open mic at the venue. She made me pinky swear there would be no bad performers lol!! Anyway I was with a friend Wes Ornick aka WV's Biggest Slacker. I had a few PBRs and two of the most delicious hotdogs. They were definitely not some store brand hot dog!! I hope to host an open mic at The Purple Cow, but if it doesn't work out I still recommend the place. As we were leaving at 9p the parking lot began to fill up. I heard it really picks up on the weekends after 10p!!! They also have line dancing and other events throughout the week!!

This is a fun place to go. Usually on Saturday nights they play great music for dancing. It usually gets busy after 10:00, then very busy around midnight because it is open later than all the other bars in Morgantown. The bartender's here are great (except the one male bartender seems a little grumpy). I will definitely go back.
