I tried to just go in and get 1 bag of broccoli for my mother using her Sam’s Club membership card. (They have been PLUS members for 14 years.) Apparently I am now banned from the store until they add me on their card or I get my own membership. The very unfriendly customer service worker told me she was going to make note of it under their account. I have used her card to pick stuff up for her for years and it has never been an issue.

Always check the "per item" on a product. Just because it's in bulk doesn't necessarily make it a better deal.
