The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The menu offers delicious options, including the OK burger, hailed as the best in Morgantown, the spicy Nashville chicken sandwich, and one of the best BBQ pork sandwiches ever. The outdoor seating area is a lovely spot to enjoy a meal on a nice evening, with a dog-friendly patio downstairs and a nice upstairs patio. The bar areas and atmosphere are great improvements, with chill vibes and good drink prices. The dry seasoning blends for the wings—Alamo dust (spicy), Cluck dust (lemon pepper), Coal dust (blackened), and Yard dust (mix of lemon pepper and blackened)—add unique flavor. With great food, hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere, The Backyard BBQ is definitely worth a visit, despite the current parking situation which is being improved.
