The Cupcakerie Café & Frosé

Easily the best bakery in town , the cupcakes are unmatched and the staff is so sweet! they have very unique and refreshing drink options , the actual store is very modern and warm you don’t find too many places like that in Morgantown. Definitely a great place for a first date or a business lunch . Highly recommend!

Great Lunch Spot with a Fresh, Modern Feel

I stopped by Café Rosé for lunch and really enjoyed the overall experience. The atmosphere is bright, open, and fresh — lots of soft pink tones, gold accents, and a relaxed modern vibe. It’s not really a bar, but they do serve alcohol, and I think adding a wine flight option would be a nice touch if they ever decide to expand their drink offerings.

I had the Mushroom Melt, which was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. It came with a fruit cup that was sweet, colorful, and refreshing. I also tried the Espresso Martini — a bit sweet for my taste since I usually prefer something more espresso-forward and bitter, but it had a nice smoothness that I think came from Bailey’s Irish Cream.

Heather, my server, was great — attentive and friendly. There was another waitress who seemed a little annoyed, but no judgment — everyone has off days. The owner actually brought my food out quickly, which I appreciated. She seemed a bit nervous, maybe because I was taking photos, but she was efficient and professional. Maybe not super chatty, but totally understandable given how busy they were.

Overall, Café Rosé is a beautiful spot in Morgantown with great food, excellent service, and a really pleasant atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.

Love this local joint, especially for breakfast or lunch. We haven’t gone for dinner yet but when we drive by they look pretty busy. They source most of the menu from local farms and we have always enjoyed their food. This last time we came in, we found they had expanded their menu, so many yummy new items. On occasion we will treat ourselves to one of their yummy cupcakes. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely loved this hidden gem! I ordered avocado eggs Benedict with a side of hashbrowns for brunch. Everything was delicious! I got a red velvet cupcake which was very rich.

Excellent Cuban sandwich. The flavors melded together perfectly and the bread had the best crunch. It was small but perfect for me. I ate it all and was stuffed. Our waitress was adorable and the atmosphere wonderful for two friends wanting to talk.

Café Rosé is such a great spot in Morgantown. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the menu has a little bit of everything — from creative sandwiches and salads to amazing cupcakes and drinks. The selection is impressive, and everything I’ve tried has been spot on. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!

The ambience is very cute, but the service was pretty bad and extremely slow. The server had an attitude from the very beginning and the food never arrived. After waiting for over 40 minutes for the food, they told us it was going to take 20 minutes. The coffee was terrible. Very disappointed.

Please verify before you respond to the review. We were only a party of 2 not 9. And as a matter of fact we never got our food, even after waiting for over 40 minutes.

Regardless of the circumstances I was still very polite to your server and there was no shouting on our end. We paid for the coffees and left.
