❤️ The Tea Shoppe is such a gem!! They have excellent and friendly service, a great tea selection of the highest quality and offer fair pricing. I am a returning customer both online and in-person when I visit my family. It’s my favorite place to treat my mom- we both love it! They have the best teas! My personal favorites are the cream earl gray (my go-to), arabica mocha, and bonfire! My mom loves the angel’s dream. The food is exquisite- I highly recommend their quiche, soups, salads, and scones. Great portion sizes, too. They have the best customer service. I experienced a one-time issue with an online delivery of teas (at no fault of the Shoppe), but contacted their customer service and they took care of it for me, immediately. They offer online discounts from time to time, so be sure to sign up for texts so you don’t miss out. ❤️

Disappointed in the fact that they had all of these imported teas from all over the world and they stepped them in chlorinated water which disturbed the flavors. The food, however, was very good.

I went here with my girlfriends for lunch and we all had a wonderful time! Our server was very nice and attentive. I got the South African tea flight, which was presented with a little card with the tea names. The tea could have definitely been stronger. Their poppyseed salad dressing is so good that I may need to get some to go next time.

I stopped in today after shopping nearby and I am so glad that I did. The shop was very busy but the attention from the staff was excellent. I had the pleasure of Sophie as a server. Her sweetness and attentiveness was wonderful. Great Tarragon Chicken Salad sandwich with homemade dressing for the side salad. The robust tea selection and delicious iced tea was outstanding!

They use chlorinated city water and when you try to drink your tea, all you smell and taste is swimming pool. Definitely not for tea connoisseurs.

Unique store that sells a plethora of different tea leaf flavors. They also have a dining option. While the food itself is more classy and not something comparable to say outback or other chain stores. It is very good and I would recommend it if you want a more quiet option.

My spouse and I stopped by at 14:00 on a weekday for a date. Only one other table was occupied, so it was delightfully quiet. The staff were still very nice and attentive. This was the best date we have had in months.
We had the afternoon tea and all the sandwiches and desserts were excellent. Their very wide selection of tea (well over 100) meant we both got exactly what we wanted, though we have very different tastes. The price was quite reasonable at about $20 per person.
It is much more busy on weekends and I would recommend a reservation then. It's a very different vibe. If you prefer to have a quiet tea, try to make it on a weekday.

My very best memories of visiting my daughter at WVU include our time at The Tea Shoppe. The service is always outstanding, the food is delicious, and the selection of teas is incredible. My daughter frequently brought a book to read to relax and decompress from her studies. The atmosphere is simply delightful.
We are looking forward to making the 2 hr trek to visit again soon!
