What a great place! When we come here to visit family we always try and fit in a night for dinner here and are never disappointed. Laini was our server tonight and she set the tone for the evening. We started with a couple of good cocktails, half price until 6 and some delicious tempura snap peas with fresh green goddess dip, We then shared a peach burrata salad that was amazing. The wife then had her usual, the arugula and fig pizza which never disappoints. I tried the jerk seasoned grilled snapper that was a killer… very good. They had numerous seasonal desserts to try but alas there was no room. Great evening altogether and Laini hit the ball out of the park as our server. Great job as usual☺️👍.

A usual favorite for us but tonight was our first time back in a while and it was so good I had to share. Chandler our bartender/server, who we have often was amazing. Super attentive and great company. The food tonight was the best it’s ever been.
We had the shrimp scampi dip for an appetizer, I had penne vodka pasta with blackened chicken, my boyfriend had the Wild Beast Burger with fries. 10/10. I finished with the dark chocolate mousse and it was amazing as always.
Great crew as the other girls around were working so hard and the people in the kitchen obviously care about their job! We had an amazing time this evening! Thank you again to staff!

First time here and it was great. Have so much more to offer than just wine. Great food and drinks from wines to cocktails and some beers. Only had a flatbread that was great and look forward to trying more. Their specials of the day looked enticing as well unfortunately was not that hungry

We use to LOVE to come here. We constantly came before moving, we came to town and had to stop! Had a wonderful mocktail, server was nice but maintained bar and regular seating so we didn’t get to see her to voice what was wrong. We ordered the sun dried tortellini and the tortellini was hard.. Also one plate had a significant more amount of food on the plate than the other. The charcuterie boards use to be AMAZING! They are now very tiny, I had chose 5 cheeses and only got 4 on my board, but somehow paid for 6. After sending my bill back to be fixed I was still charged for 6. I’m really disappointed in the quality of food compared to how it was a year ago.

I recently enjoyed eating two separate evenings at The Wine Bar at Vintner Valley in Morgantown, WV. The times happened to be on a Thursday and a Friday night. (I booked ahead because RESERVATIONS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.)

The ambience is warm (full, but not loud), the service was very accommodating, and the food provides new experiences. The menu has some of the most unusual and tasty items one will find in the area. The chef has clearly trained and worked in different regions and brings these tastes to Morgantown. In addition, the menu provides options for customers with dietary restrictions, such as gluten-free and vegetarian needs.

I’m sure the menu changes seasonally, but all the foods tasted great, including Long Stem Artichoke Roses with aioli sauce, Green Goddess Fries, and salmon cakes. Our friends shared a beautifully put-together charcuterie board, including items for guests with GF restrictions. The chef has created a “pickle” category that tickles the curiosity and taste, including pears, peaches, radishes, and ramps (try this Appalachian delicacy with a pickled twist). I found the pickled ramp with a smidge of goat cheese from the charcuterie board a delight, with no cracker needed.

For entrees, the table had a mixture of items with nothing but euphonic sounds of “mms,” which is a good sign. I had the tortellini, which was GF, and enjoyed every bite, and had plenty to share with others.

In the dessert category, the dark chocolate mousse had the perfect texture and taste, and the cheesecake with the caramelized topping was delicious. All desserts are reportedly made in-house.

I recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I were excited to try this place on date night. We got there and nobody was in the place and we got turned away because we had no reservations. On the website it said reservations are recommended not required. Nobody was at the restaurant which is odd to turn away customers. Never will even try to go back.

My friends and I opted to have dinner and cocktails here a few days ago and there aren’t enough wonderful things to say about this place. The food was great and the drinks were equally as fabulous. The staff was incredibly accommodating too, as we were there on an unusually busy night. We had Stephanie as our server (this was probably our 3rd time having her) and she was awesome; very attentive and checked on us a lot. I have family coming into town soon and can’t wait to take them here soon. Will be back for a lemon drop martini soon!
