Delicious short ribs. I enjoyed the large tv and look forward to eating outside once it warms up.

I recently dined at here and it was a disaster from start to finish. I ordered a dish that wasn’t priced on the menu—something they referred to as a “very normal steak.” When the bill arrived, I was stunned to find I’d been charged nearly $60 for a piece of meat that was barely cooked. It was raw, unseasoned, and tasted terrible. For that price, I would expect at least a decent meal, but this was completely inedible. The lack of transparency on the menu and the poor quality of food make me never want to return. I’d strongly advise others to steer clear!

Tropics is a Morgantown institution. I love the outdoor seating, the white tablecloths, the plastic Pepsi cups, the bar, the backroom with games, the collection of Hawaiian and American menu items, the overnight parking for safety. It's such a beautiful collection of items that come together to create a place that could only exist here, and I love it for that. I always love the ahi tuna here. Come and enjoy this incredible place, and savor the fact it exists.

Stopped in for lunch on Sunday, I got wings and Wife had their chicken wrap. Food was awesome, and they were super fast. We sat outside and it was really nice. Great staff, loved the outdoor atmosphere. Would definitely recommend eating there, looking forward to summer nights at the Tropics.

I’m sitting in the hospital room with my son . An hour ago we dined at Tropics in Morgantown . When our meals arrived we began to eat . My son complained that the Hawaiian pork tasted sour . I brought the waitress over and she brought the meal to the cook hopefully to prepare a more fit meal .
My son is writhing with pain , vomitting with diarrhea and says over and over how he wants to die . This is particularly disturbing for our family because his immune system just recovered from his battle with leukemia . Prayers and thoughts are appreciated.

Never knew this place existed. We had dinner inside and afterward enjoyed a live band outside. I have nothing bad to say about the entire experience. Food was great, the service was impeccable, and the bartenders outside were insanely quick.

In town for the weekend staying at the Cranberry hotel and this gem of a restaurant is directly across the parking lot. We ate here every day of the weekend, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Not one time was I disappointed in anything. The service, food, atmosphere promptness were extremely on point! I highly recommend this to anyone!

Situated in the same parking lot as The Cranberry Hotel this was a perfect place to relax after a day of travel and hiking.

The atmosphere is very relaxing and tropical, helping your heart rate and breathing to slow as soon as you enter the outdoor seating area. The staff are friendly and casual, helping you feel like you dining with friends at your service.

Because we were walking back to our hotel room we each got an alcoholic drink. My husband got a bourbon and I chose a rum drink, Tropical Sunset, which was so refreshing. Our entrees were fish tacos, cheese burger and sides of macaroni salad. Delicious!

It was the perfect way to end our day!
