Just stopped to see if all the rumors were true... and it was a delightful excursion!! We had delicious sandwiches, found homemade WV treasures, and the service was great! Its located behind the Tractor Bar and well worth the stop!!
Wonderful sandwiches! Interesting owner! Sat on the covered deck. Beautiful setting. Highly recommended! Go down the hill behind the bar that’s beside the road
We stumbled upon this business today and absolutely fell in love. The food is absolutely amazing, the decor makes you feel right at home! Then we sat on the deck overlooking the beautiful pond and water fountain. It was a peaceful and amazing lunch!! We highly recommend you to try it out!
Well worth stopping at this little gem! The owner is so nice and lunch was amazing! We split a Cuban and salad...outstanding! Thank you ~
Picturesque general store. Deli style hot & cold sandwiches. Wide variety of hand crafted and Amish made goods. Outdoor seating. So lovely should be a movie set.
They have great sandwiches and salads. I try something new each visit.
I get a sandwich here at least once a week. I call ahead and they have it ready for me when I come in the door, which is great when I'm in a rush. All of their meats that they make in house here are wonderful. The bologna sandwich is awesome! The Captain Morgan is awesome and pretty much every sandwich I've had here is awesome! You should try all the sandwiches! Mary has really good recipes a good mix of West Virginia and Texas at its best. You can eat for $10. I also come here every couple weeks to buy smoked bologna from them.
The host won us over with her winning personality.Food wasn’t too shabby either!Order the Cuban!
This was a nice surprise that I found via my Google Maps suggestions. Mary, the owner, was working by herself the day I went and made a really great Pulled Pork sandwich for me. The gift shop upstairs is really cool as well, and offered some peaceful views in the countryside while still just right off the highway. Great lunch stop if making a road trip from Pittsburgh down south.
Had a tasty big grilled cheese sandwich. Was peaceful listening to the water and seeing the cars move back and forth on route 41

This place takes the cake as far as quality. I loved the small town feel. The owner is so friendly and accommodating. The sandwiches were absolutely to die for. If you’re in the area you MUST check it out!
Delicious as usual!!Great old fashioned candy selection. Lots of gluten free and calorie free products.
If you have the time, skip the fast food and come here. Great prices and fantastic sandwiches with some bonus goodies inside. Super friendly and cozy with outdoor seating only.
My 2 friends and I were in the area to see all the beautiful scenery and found this little gem. Cute little store and great food. One friend got a sandwich and she said it was fantastic and the other 2 of us got salads, mine was so big I only ate half and ate the other half for supper. The lady working was very nice to talk to and friendly. There is a fun selection of things to purchase in the store and a nice selection of sandwiches and salads.
Great sandwiches. Good salads. If you are near there, be sure to stop in. I spent more than I wanted because I couldn’t resist the sweet stuff. And!!! I got a diet root beer.
