Broaster Chicken

My wife and I (both are 80-somethings) decided on a day trip to Twin Falls. Walked to Marsh Fork Falls (the water was really running well since we had a goodly amount of rain) and did the Twin Oaks trail. Had an excellent lunch of turkey sandwiches with mashed potatoes, stuffing, and gravy. Up to this point, it was an excellent visit. Thought we'd finish our day with a visit to the Pioneer Farm. We have stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed. The staff is wonderful, always so friendly and helpful. The golf is great especially off season when there are less people and more deer. After a day of golf relaxing in the pool and hot tub is a must. It is just an amazing place worth visiting even if you are not a golfer.

If you are staying in the cottages at Twin Falls Resort State Park you shouldn’t think of it as a resort. Although the cottages are nicely situated in the woods, there are some issues with them. Below are the pros and cons. Pros- The inside is clean. The beds are comfortable. You get a sheet and bedspread. A blanket would be good so in chilly weather you can open the windows.
