My server's name was Parker. The restaurant was busy and understaffed. The weight was long. I'm an experienced fine diner. A lot has changed since the post Covid. I totally understand two things that stood out. I asked for a Heineken. The server just placed it on my table, not even pouring it into a glass I had to ask for the glass Second at the end of the meal I received the crème brûlée and my server didn't even ask for an after dinner drink or coffee he seems very rushed. I left him 20% tip which I felt was above and beyond because I'm understanding that servers usually don't make a lot of money. Would I go here again? Maybe I'm not sure when you're paying over $100 for one person, I guess I expect a little more, but I guess that's the way the world is today not like six years ago.

Avoid. Make the drive to the next casino.

Good Steak Dinner. overall everything very good. my NY Strip was a medium versus a Mid Rare but sending it back just takes too long when we had plans for the evening. fab food otherwise. we will go back.

We had the best Mother's Day Brunch! The entire staff made the entire dining experience so special and all of our dishes were delicious.

May 7th 2025 Would HIGHLY not recommend! What has happened to the Mountaineer Casino? The place is going downhill. The Gadsby restaurant food/service even with food comps is disgusting. The employees need let go. They need to clean house! The cook/waitress could use A LOT OF training. The customer service is beyond appalling. They took the feedback machine out of the hotel lobby because they do not care at all about customer service. I won’t be back nor will I recommend this place.

Another year older another year at LBV! This restaurant never disappoints. Two different varieties of warm bread is immediately available - which is a big plus for me. The portions were not skimpy - my latest pet peeve amongst other restaurants. The biggest selling point is the excellent staff that always aim to please coupled with the wonderful live piano entertainment which promotes a relaxing atmosphere amid the lively casino. The crab spaghetti was delicious as well as the petite filets. Love the truffled potatoes and button mushrooms. Enjoy a glass of wine served at the perfect temp while dining on this venue's delights! Be sure to make a reservation as early as possible as I believe the restaurant is only open on the weekends.

LBV Steakhouse is a must everytime I'm at Mountaineer Casino. No matter what I order whether it's a steak or pasta is always cooked perfectly. I can't say in 15 years I've ever had a bad experience at LBV. Brandi the Mgr will always take care of you and possibly the best server in the business.. Vicki Booth is absolutely top notch. I would be remiss for not mentioning Megan also...great server! Next time you visit Mountaineer Casino stop in LBV!

Don’t recommend the bar- nobody practices washing their hands. Cherri wipes her hands on dirty rags, licks her fingers, then sticks her hands in the fruit that goes in your drinks. Very biased. Management doesn’t care about the employees. Was a bartender there and personally saw how dirty the place was. Bats in liquor bottles, and the cups behind the liquor guns along with being told to “filter out” nats in one of the bottles. Management loves to make false reports & lie on employees, they’ll bash you for how much you make an hour but excuse employees having sex in restrooms or getting drunk and falling asleep while on the clock. HR doesn’t care about employees just about the title that comes with the job description. Every employee sits and talks trash on management. Management calls employees ignorant names gossiping about eachother. Very childish atmosphere. There’s been multiple reports of bugs in hotel rooms, and them not being cleaned properly & when even mentioning sanitary standards to the “bosses,” they don’t care because they pay off fines from health dept to continue operating. There was mold in the soda guns in the service bar - and who knows for how long until I scrubbed them and sanitized everything. And only cleaning supplies I was told to use behind the bar by the careless “mentor” was a warm rag. 1 rag. That was used on everything including wiping her hands off with after handling multiple things including bacon she hid in the closet to eat. Still never washed her hands. They can degrade you and be ignorant / with zero repercussions if they’ve been there long enough.

This is one of our favorite restaurants! We come all the time and the service and food are always wonderful!

Food and service excellent. Extremely Loud party across the dining room made it difficult for us to converse.

The only reason I’m recommending this place is because the slim staff that does work here busts their butts. We have been coming here for ALONG time. And have continually watched the atmosphere and food and offers decline time and time again. Don’t come here and stay during the week because ur only breakfast option is a continental of a bagel, sausage biscuits and ur basic hotel amenities. It’s a holiday weekend and was pretty busy last night and noooo sit down breakfast. I wouldn’t say this is a personnel problem I would say this is a corporate problem. Not to mention the entire hotel had no hot water last night. Super bummer Pay ur people an appropriate wage and figure out ur staffing. Or give the operations back to #CaesarsEntertainment since you operate and do not own.

The service and the food were amazing! Our waiter was very attentive and helped us with all of our needs. I highly recommend the chicken picatta and I absolutely loved the risotto! The atmosphere was quiet and it was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary!

My husband's Ribeye was waaaay too salty. Unedible, had to send it back. Petite filet was ok, little salty as well, and too rare for my liking (I had ordered medium). Which by the way, the waiter didn't ask how we wanted our steaks done. I had to tell him, he never asked. Service took way too long, for ordering, for food and getting drinks. Hardly anyone there and it took an hour to get our sub-par dinner. Potatoes specialty was good, as was the brussel sprouts with bacon. Lobster bisque had no flavor. Crab cake was ok. Would not go back.
