I ate the pot roast with carrots, mashed potatoes and gravy with delicious buttered rolls. The rolls tasted like my grandmother's rolls. A great meal for a winter day!

Colonial dressing just perfects their salads. The peach tea is delicious and so are the cinna-biscuits. Like that one can order breakfast, no matter what time of day.

Ordered carryout, was offered the special they were running on the quart of soup but it is a cold quart. Told the person I didn't want the cold because I was going home to have dinner with my wife. Ended up getting the cold quart. The soup had separated and did not reconstitute leaving a cheddar baked potatoe soup that looked more like cottage cheese in yellow water with potatoes.

Stick with breakfast or home cooking stuff. We were not impressed with anything ...avoid fish dinner, the honey chicken was good, and chicken strips are average.

After staying the night in Martinsville, WV for a family visit we came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning… They weren’t busy when we got there, but became very busy within about 30 minutes after getting seated. It’s the typical Bob Evans menu. The reviews weren’t very high, so my expectations were low, but I have to say that our server was spot on and excellent! Friendly, helpful, and very courteous too! I wish I remembered his name, because he deserves to be called out!
The food was actually spot on as well! My country fried steak was perfect and the sauce on top was tasty, but my eggs were unbelievably tasty! Everything about the food and service was great! Definitely would return when in the area!
